This was our 1st time staying at the Panorma and what a blast it was from start to finish. We were picked up from the airport by the owner Dennis, then welcomed by his daughter Nikki who checked us in. The room overlooked the swimming pool and you can see across the salt flats with beautiful mountains in the background. The room was clean and tidy with a very comfy bed we both slept so well, the cleaners would come in everyday to service the rooms changing towels/bedding. The pool area is kept tidy and plenty of beds for everyone. The location is perfect just a short walk through the salt flats to the beach, bars and restaurants which all serve amazing food. The beach is wonderful we used the beds at Mobey Dicks and the food there is really good value and big portions. They put on a Greek night for €20 per person is such great value and a serious must for all guest, it’s a great experience of Greek music and dancing and everyone joins in. We really enjoyed having a drink in the bar every evening chatting to the owner Mavra whom is so accommodating and does everything to make sure her guest are happy and we definitely had lots of laughs with her and the other guests. We made friends with other guest who were so friendly and gave us useful advice as they return year after year, it’s a home from home. We can’t wait to return next year it truly is a magical place.

Another great stay at Panorama! There is always a friendly welcome from all of the hard working staff. Our first floor room was kept clean by the lovely cleaning team, with regular clean towels and bedding. There was always hot water (not something you always got in Greece in years gone by) for showering. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning (payable if not booking direct with Panorama) a must in the nearly 40 degree heat in June! There is also a safe (a small charge). There are always sun beds around the pool, or a short stroll across the salt flats is the sandy safe bathing beach, there is even a lifeguard on duty! Behind the beach are the shops, bars and restaurants, plenty of choice. If you don’t want to venture far Panorama offer a good menu selection for breakfast, snacks and dinner. It was nice after a hard day at the beach and later in the evening to spend time at the bar with Mavra and any guests, having a few drinks chat and catch up of what had happened in the day. We are looking forward to returning in September to find out what we missed in July and August!

Stayed at Panorma for 8 nights in September 24. We were very pleased with the accomodation. The location is great - opposite the salt flats, and within a few minutes walk of the sea and excellent tavernas, bars etc.
We were offered a choice of rooms - ground or top floor. We opted for top (second) floor, which had a wonderful view of the pool and salt flats in front and the mountains behind. The room was clean and spacious, and the shower was hot, powerful and easy to control.
We stayed B&B, which I'd recommend. There's a wide selection of breakfasts - everything from a full English to waffles to yoghurt. All tasty and freshly prepared, and they all come with orange juice and tea/coffee. Much better than a breakfast buffet, in my opinion. I only went in the pool once, but it was very nice - clean, well-maintained and a good size/depth.
A few minor niggles prevented me from giving it a five-star rating. Firstly, the shower curtain was too short, and kept falling down. Secondly, as there are a lot of mozzies on the island, a mosquito screen would be appreciated. Finally, the sunbed cushions are deceptive - they look dry on the outside, but as soon as you sit on them, the water from the padding squishes through and soaks you. Fine if you're in swimwear, but we weren't, and needed to return to our room to change before we went out.
As I say, though, these are minor niggles, and wouldn't prevent me returning or recommending this accomodation to others. Thank you to the friendly and hardworking staff!

I’m not sure who is writing the reviews for this hotel but we certainly didn’t get the “will do anything for you family orientated” feeling at all. Room very poor and lacking those cleanly feel vibes. The bathroom was awful with an old dirty shower curtain that had seen better days. The water was constantly brown. The shower head didn’t fit on the hook and had a mind of its own so we eventually got it replaced but still didn’t fit, so you had to hold it whilst showering. Kept awake for 3 nights with neighbouring apartments air con screeching/rattling all night. When we did ask to fix air con they didn’t have a clue. We eventually leaned over and used beer mats to stop the noise. Was poorly all week and the only thing I can think it was due to, was stupidly brushing my teeth on the first morning with the tap water. Had 3 power cuts in 2 days. When we complained the supposedly family welcome turned to slamming drinks and food down on counter and death stares given by Marva. We stopped eating there after day two as to be honest, we didn’t think the food was that nice. The cappuccino was rank and just tasted like hot whipped up squirty cream with no taste of any coffee what so ever! Two days before departure they offered to move us which was a total waste of time as you are kicked out room at 11 in morning. We had a night flight so had to hang around all day by pool. No instructions where you could shower and get ready or where to leave cases. We paid £2700 to come here for 1 week and friends we made whilst there only paid £1500 and had a fantastic modern apartment. The air con was €50 per week per room, €12 for the safe and €10.50 for tourist tax. However, we could not fault our lovely cleaner who cleaned every day and the pool area was lovely with plenty of beds for everyone. Pool opens at 9am but you could start to pop towels on at 8.30am. The walk into the strip took about 15-20 mins but there wasn’t that much to do for the children, no arcades etc and not many shops, just lots of bars and restaurants. The beach was beautiful but rammed with people on sun beds everyday. Overall, I wouldn’t return to this part of Greece again or the Panorama.

Dear Yvonne, thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Panorama. I have to say that I am absolutely flabbergasted and quite insulted by your review. At Panorama, we pride ourselves on friendliness, cleanliness and customer satisfaction! I feel I MUST correct you on several points, as your interpretation is clearly full of false statements and inaccuracies. Its one thing not to enjoy a holiday, that is sad, but to knowingly write a libellous account is disgusting! This review is overdramatized and there are several points that weren’t mentioned properly… Firstly, you booked a two-bedroomed apartment DIRECTLY with Jet2, not us. It is not our fault that Jet2 charged you 2.700 pounds and other residents paid less than you. Secondly, the actual apartment you stayed in, Room 44, has two separate bedrooms, is 50 Square metres in size and has served many, many families in the past with no complaint. It has sea and pool views,these honeymoon rooms have been designed with wooden beam ceilings, colourful materials and stylish furniture for the extra comfort of the guests. For your information you can check on our website the cost of this apartment, as these do not belong to jet2 allocation. Unlike you, I am not allowed to post pictures on here, but I can categorically state, all our rooms/apartments, regardless of their number or situation within the complex, are all of excellent standards. As for the other pictures you kindly displayed, at the start of every season we check all amenities within the rooms and carry out regular maintenance . As we are situated opposite the salt flats and vicinity of the sea, some natural corrosion of stainless steel can happen during the season. In your picture of the cooker, the black knob is being removed, making it look broken with a whole next to it, but what a SURPRISE, the knob reappeared at its place when you left. Possibly for your photography purposes! How sad... Regarding the power cuts, unfortunately we have no control of power cuts or the supplying of electricity to the Island, although as soon as it happened, my Father, the Owner, immediately started the Generator to allow our Guests electricity. We can not control the water condition from outside but ask that all clients run the tap until the water clears. It is common knowledge NOT to drink or brush your teeth in it! Our wonderful cleaners regularly check and clean all surfaces to keep any deterioration away. The shower curtains are cleaned every 7 days! You say the whole place lacked a clean vibe, but you made it your business to seek out two floors below while she was cleaning room 4 and tip our cleaner €10! Why all these lies again? You claimed that the housekeeping service was poor, if this was the case why didn’t you at least report this to the Jet2 rep since he was here almost every day? We have a reputation to have a very clean hotel and we will keep it that way. Our food and drinks (Including the Coffee) are made with brand names and the best ingredients but had you informed us that you were not satisfied, we could have replaced or served something else, but you didn’t tell us or give us the chance. On arrival at Panorama on the 10/8 at 21.47(Saturday),you were greeted by me at the bar with every curtesy you would expect You asked about air con but as you were staying in a family apartment, you were charged €100 as there are two separate air conditioning units. At that point you immediately showed your displeasure! Probably the start of all this! On Tuesday morning at 11,45 jet2 contacted to ask us if it was possible to move you as you were not happy with the noisy air conditioning from room 43 next door. Jet2 requested as a kind gesture to move you rooms. Then straight away, the next day on the Wednesday morning, the 14th, my Sister found you at the pool and informed you that a new room was available, ready and cleaned. You began to shout at her, saying you were too ill to move, but on here you stated you didn't move as it was waste of time. So you were or weren't ill??? Why did you embarrass my sister who was trying to help you? it was heard by everyone. This was by the way on day FOUR , not TWO days before you left!! Lie after lie! The A.C in room 43, has been installed this year in April 2024, which, by the way, was checked and investigated to be fine and the occupants couldn’t hear anything! Although they are light sleepers they had no problem sleeping!! You say you were “Kicked out” at 11am, as a professional establishment, we do not kick clients out! We obviously, as all hotels do, have to have a check out time in order to clean and make rooms ready for the next customer. We do not have responsibility for guests who have night flights. If you had bothered to ask, we have a shower room and toilet for use when waiting for transfers to the airport. These are CLEARLY signposted. Finally, the most insulting point I need to address is your accusation that I, “That woman, Mavra” was rude and slammed items down and gave death stares. I'm sorry but after checking our CCTV camera to back my own memory up, I have NEVER personally myself SERVED YOU DRINKS OR FOOD during your seven days stay!!! I have only EVER checked you in on the night you arrived for six minutes!! How could i ever be rude to you, slamming drinks and food, giving you death looks, when i never served you or never saw you at the bar?!!!!!!! On the same note, you state you stopped eating at Panorama after day 2 as it wasn’t nice but then go on to say after day 4 we were slamming down your food and drinks, and we were rude to you! How? If you were not present??!! Lies, Lies.. We are always polite and professional to customers, even when you turned your head away when i said “Hello” and you never ANSWERED to me,while you were sitting on the swing outside waiting to leave on trips. Do you remember that? As this was deliberately forgotten to be written n this review! Overall our hotel is considered to be a friendly family hotel and all the staff are always happy and always willing to do the best for our guests in order to have the best relaxing holidays as possible! Yes, you are right Panorama is not the right place for you. Panorama is for guests who respect and honor us and our staff.and appreciate our hard work. We are not here to be shouted at either to be verbally abused, or to lock ourselves in the kitchen of the bar and cry! I’m also sorry to hear that our beautiful Island is not lovely enough with Amusement Arcades etc but it is not Benidorm. We love our home and attempt to keep traditional Greek life. Next time you visit another destination it would be very helpful for you to read all the facilities a resort provides so you can have a pleasant stay! We are deeply troubled you didnt embrace all that is Panorama, as thousands of guests do, and you didn't enjoy your whole stay with us but I am confident that we did everything to make your stay a happy one. Including helping you the day you nearly passed out, supplying you with water and asking you if you wanted assistant to go back to your room . Obviously this gesture was not appreciated by you and you failed to mention. Answering to your question, who is writing these reviews for this hotel Are all 757positive reviews misleading as you claim? All 757 reviews have contact details and someone can ask personally about their credentials. Have they ALL been to different Panorama? Your Partner, Jason, was always friendly and chatty and on leaving, made it clear that he’d loved his stay and didn’t want to leave! Maybe he was speaking to a different Mavra at a different Panorama. Why say one thing to our faces, then go away and claim something different?? We at the Panorama Studios give a 110% effort for everyone to have a nice holiday with us just as long they give us the chance to do so. Would have given a higher review but unfortunately there were some aspects of our stay that let them down We stayed in one of the studios that overlooked the pool and had a slight sea view The apartment itself was very nice and looked refurbished What let it down was the water quality in the studio We stayed for 7 nights and for 4 of them the water in the bathroom was yellow Now I know the water quality in Greece isn’t the same as in England but to bathe in yellow water is not satisfactory I complained on the second day as we arrived late on the first day They acknowledged our complaint and said they would change the filters The yellow water which you will see in the photos was disgusting We didn’t use the water in the studio as we always use bottled water It was such a shame as the staff especially the bar man were pleasant and the pool area nice with comfortable loungers, no need to reserve The area which it is situated is near the salt lake and not too far from the main resort of Alykes. It is also not too far from the beach which is beautiful. We would stay again in Alykes but perhaps not to this hotel

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to give a review for Panorama and for your kind comment regarding that the Panorama has a great location, our staff are pleasant, and nice pool area with comfortable loungers We are pleased to hear that you found the apartment to be very nice, refurbished with pool views. I would like to take this opportunity to explain the issue you had with “Discoloured Water” in the Apartment. We rely on the Water Company to supply us with clean water, as per our contract, however, sometimes, although the water is perfectly harmless and clear of anything harmful, it can come through discoloured. We insist on all Health paperwork to ensure our guests are protected but, on occasion, it might not look very safe. I can assure you it was. The Water Company suggested we use filters, which we did at the time of your stay, but they were only partially successful. This problem unfortunately has occurred several times during this Summer Season and we are actively looking for a different Company to take over the supply of water to Panorama. I hope this goes some way to acknowledge your concerns. I went on a last minute seven day break with Jet2 to this resort and hotel, after my wife had recently lost her mum . We wanted a stress free weeks break in a typical Greek small resort which was quiet. Nothing could be further from the truth , this hotel bears no resemblance to the hotel that is depicted either on the Jet2 website or the actual hotel’s website. Both websites depict the hotel in a bright welcoming light with basic clean a brightly coloured rooms . The hotel has become dated run down and poorly maintained. Our beds were not made up just sheets left on top of the beds , the description on the website said that the rooms would comprise of double bed and either single bed or sofa bed , it in fact was just a narrow sofa which my Autistic daughter would easily have fallen out of if she rolled over , none of the taps or shower worked properly, just trickled out water, and the toilet did not flush properly, taps were rusty and there were cracked tiles in the bathroom as well. We asked the owner if there was another room we could move to , and she said there were none , she could see our disappointment and we returned to our room , shortly after she came to our room and miraculously said I have another room for you , we followed her to another room which quite frankly was no different to the first room , again no beds made up or any offer from her to make the beds up. Again she could sense our disappointment. As it was late we decided to try and get some sleep and approach the Jet2 rep the next morning to see if we could move . After a sleepless night of constant attacks by mosquitoes , we awoke early and were confronted on how this dreadful hotel looked like in the cold light of day. We went down to see the Jet2 rep to air our complaints and to see if we could move hotels. The children’s play area was unusable as all the inflatables were deflated and the area was generally not maintained properly. The restaurant area was full of guests smoking whilst eating at the tables , the Jet2 website states that there is no smoking in the rooms or balconies and that there are designated smoking areas, it does not say that smoking is permitted everywhere else , had it done so we would not have booked in the first place as we are non smokers . Our treatment by the hotel and Jet2 was abysmal, no offer of apology from either, and we’re told we could move hotels but would have to wait between 24 and 38 hours to get confirmation. My wife my daughter and myself were so depressed and stressed that we decided to move hotels of our own accord, and are still in a dispute with Jet2 over this . We were sold this short holiday under false pretences, it is not as described. Unless you are not bothered with the state of where you are prepared to stay , keep clear of this poor establishment.

On the night of your arrival, 15/6/23 at 23.00, i personally checked you in and escorted to your room ( room 31), which consisted of WHITE new furniture, what colour can be brighter than the white??. You arrived at Panorama, thinking you had booked a family room with two sleeping areas, although you had paid for a Studio for three people. But You had not booked a Family room, you booked a studio with a double bed and sofa bed with Jet2, (which is CLEARLY stated in the jet2 description, not a SINGLE BED). You complained that you didn’t want to sleep in the same room as your teenage daughter and the sofa bed wasn’t suitable Unfortunately, we were unable to anticipate your particular needs nor change the bed for you,that type of bed is suffice for all our other guests for the past 36 years. You asked me if i could COMPLIMENTARY upgraded you into a family room . Unfortunately at that point all our family rooms were fully booked. i then advised you to see the rep the following morning, but you denied to pay extra for the upgrade. I then “Miraculously”, after i had gone down to the reception twice, checking the reservation list, having left the bar unattended, having over 6 guests waiting to be served , offered you a complimentary upgrade you to a Honeymoon Double Room, which did not belong to jet2 allocation, with pool view and sea view, to which your Wife and Daughter liked and said it was “Perfect”. They were ever so happy thanking me, hugging me and they could not praise me enough for what i had done for you! Reading this review, we are deeply sorry this upgrade was not appreciated by you! After having moved to the Honeymoon room, you actually came to the bar for drinks and food at 01.00am in the morning!! You did not go to sleep as you have falsely stated. You actually ate in our bar area at 1am,.although our kitchen was closed, we made special arrangements to have food available for your late arrival. Even you Jon, thanked me for upgrading and moving you and said you liked it. Why say one thing to our faces, then go away and claim something different?? At that time in the morning (01.00am), people were smoking and drinking and enjoying their holiday. You showed no dissatisfaction regarding guests who were smoking around you, while you were ordering more than one round of drinks! The next morning, after you had your breakfast, you spoke to my sister, praising me again for what i had done the previous night, describing your holidays as PERFECT!!So how this treatment can be described by you as ABYSMAL? After what i had done for you. This is insulting. Ten minutes later, you complained to your Jet2 rep you wanted to move to another hotel, What has it changed within ten minutes? After your complaint, both rooms had been inspected by a Manager. They found both rooms perfectly satisfactory! That is probably because we renovate our rooms regularly and they are not “Dated, run down and badly maintained”! The Play Area does not open until 7pm due to the heat so that is why it was “Unusable” in the morning time, on the same note, how the play area affected your experience at Panorama when your daughter being 17 YEARS OF AGE wouldn't use it anyway?? Regarding mosquitos, all our rooms have fly screens, in addition, disinfection and disinsectisations have been carried out by a pest-control company, in order to keep mosquitos away. As for the beds ,the main bed has a bottom bed sheet made up with pillows, the top sheet is left folded for use at the Clients discretion. Furthermore, we would like to add that you refused to pay for the air condition and the safety deposit box, claiming that you had already paid Jet2, but you hadn't. In conclusion, you didn’t book the right room, you didn’t want to pay for the Air Conditioning,the Safety box, the Upgrade to a Family room, and you STILL haven’t paid the Accommodation Tax, even though you were handed a receipt for it! The bed sheets we removed from your room were all full of blood and were too unsanitary to keep! The toilet certainly didn't flush after you used it as you chose to throw your toilet paper in the toilet rather to put them in the bin, as it was indicated on the wall! We had to pay a visit for our plumer to unblock it! If i had complimentary upgraded you to a family room, given you for free the AC,and SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX, then hotel wouldn't look old and run down. It is sad, when guests exaggerate the claim, lying, trying to illegally obtain compensation,on the 21/6/23, and after having received the negative reply from Jet2 customer department, they decide two months after their stay, to submit this negative review. Well, what can I say. Now our seventh time here at the Panorama and our forever second home. We step into this place every year and are treated by the beautiful, loving Leftaky family with smiles, warmth, love and fun. They are a family, Mavra, Niki, and Denise, who cater to your every needs, always willing to help and assist, anything is never too much trouble and if any issues always ask as they will accommodate and resolve any problems. The place is in a wonderful setting with mountains and salt lake surrounding it , short walk to the beach and centre which has numerous bars and restaurants to experience the Greek culture and cuisine. The rooms and gardens are kept spotlessly clean, the pool is large and very inviting with plenty of sunbeds with their staff, who works tirelessly, to ensure everyone has a brilliant time.If you wish to hire a car or quad bike this is the place to hire a vehicle with a wide range to choose from. The Greek night they have on a Sunday is both amazing and great value for money, with food prepared by the family and then entertainment, plate smashing, dancing with the whole family joining in, even grandma comes and the children all looking to ensure the night is perfect - and it is!! Words cannot describe what this family means to us, we love their company, the fun and laughter they provide, always smiling, always happy making every time we come a memorable holiday. Cannot wait to return again next year and we can spend more happy times again There is no better place to us than the Panorama and the Leftaky family, our friends, our happy place and our favourite island Zante. Experience this place, its local culture and its beauty - you won't be disappointed

What an amazing reception we got from Mavra when we arrived. As soon as we checked in we knew we had made the correct choice. The 2 weeks we had there were fantastic, Mavra, Nikki & Dave made sure that you were well looked after.
The Greek night is a must, cheap as chips at 20 euro. The additional nights that Mavra organised were so much fun, sh1t T-shirt competition and “Is this your husband” competition was so funny with everyone joining in.
These apartments are immaculate, what a great job all the staff do to keep it that way. No sunbed wars in the morning, there is a strict policy of no towels before 8.30am and the clientele who were there were all so respectful. No wonder they get so many repeat customers.

Our room here was dated but kept clean, with fresh towels and bed sheets offered every other day. It appears all rooms have a poolside view with some also having sea views.
The family that run this place work hard 24/7 to keep guests happy here but failed to consolidate their own rules regarding reservation of sunbeds, with one lady grabbing around 12-15 sunbeds early EVERY morning!! This did impact on our stay and we found ourselves walking to a beach side pool area that we found on a daily basis.
The pool was also over-run with Lilo's and other swimming aids, mostly deflated and useless but just remaining in the pool taking up swimming space.
Breakfast - if included in your stay you get to choose one item from the menu, this comes with juice and a hot drink. Would be better if you were given a set amount (8euros each maybe) as cereal is a lot cheaper than a full English! Nothing is self service, which we also missed.
Hotel is nicely located, a short walk through the salt lakes takes you into the village. Supermarket is around a 5 min walk away.
I feel if staff had acknowledged some of the issues around the pool area things may have been better!!

Dear Deb, thank you for writing a review for Panorama. The Panorama studios have a wonderful location, quiet and close to beaches and a friendly team; I am glad you thought so too. Iam pleased that you appreciated our helpful staff and clean facilities. We at the Panorama, pride ourselves on the customer service and make every effort to ensure that our guests enjoy their holiday with us. You will recall that in an e-mail to us prior to your visit you requested one room upstairs with pool view room for two people. Although we are extremely busy at this time of year and room allocation is sometimes difficult ,we did manage to accommodate you as per your request. I’m shocked you say your room was dated. Your particular room was renovated for this year with all new kitchen, glass doors and mosquito nets. It would have been of great importance to have spoken to me while you were here, when you were asked if the room was ok after we had checked you in, giving us the opportunity to make your visit be memorable for all the right reasons. I am bitterly disappointed that your stay was not to your satisfaction, however, as Lindsay S stated in her review, you seem to have issue with the large party that was staying at the same time, but, as stated, you didn’t bring any problems to our attention until you were home, behind your keyboard! I think Lindsay has explained the situation of sunbed “Reserving” perfectly. They did not use all the sun beds, as we have over 90 sunbeds available, even though they were a party of 22. They just strolled out after breakfast (10.30am). You have to appreciate, in August, there will be larger parties with children and they want to play, with inflatables, in the pool. However, on checking our records, we noted that although you falsely say you had to go ELSEWHERE for pool space, you actually were at OUR POOL AREA most of the days, serving ciders and pints to your husband, according to our bar receipts! That's why Richard asked us to run a bar tab, as you were here every day! Why all these lies? Our breakfast is a fixed price when booking in advance. If you feel you didn’t get your moneys worth, maybe you should consider NOT pre booking breakfast, but pay for what you want every morning. Again, the TYPE of breakfast was clearly stated in your reservation form, so you were already informed about it. The breakfast option you had was the A La Carte option, where you choose one type of breakfast with different choices of how you want your food, for example, fried/scrambled eggs. But you must appreciate is a set meal, not an “All you can eat buffet”, again no dissatisfaction was expressed after you had your breakfast every morning. We have also noticed your latest bar tab of approximately 35€ remains unpaid, maybe you forgot? However you remembered to use our complimentary Airport drop off and submit such a negative review. Our 2nd visit to the Panorama studios and again we had a fantastic time. This time we booked direct with the hotel instead of Jet2, this way the aircon, room safe & tourist tax is all included. A fantastic time was had, the Sunday night Greek experience is great fun, just get involved & you’ll have a good laugh. So close to the beach, a short walk across the salt flats & you’re there. We preferred the Hakuna Matata beach bar, turn left at the beach for this one. A final word to give credit to the Leftaki family. They are amazing and will look after you so well. Thank you Mav, Nikki, Dennis & all the staff who work so hard there. We’ll be back!

AC also depends on your room as family rooms contain 2 units whereas normal rooms have 1, family room I think was about 200 Euros for 2 weeks but if you have booked directly with the hotel AC is included
