Our accommodation combines convenience with peace in a quite area surrounded by natural beauty, well kept gardens and a wonderful backdrop of the pine clad mountains. We are positioned behind the salt lakes which gently resonates calm and relaxation while the liveliness of Alykes town with its boutique shopping, nightlife, restaurants and supermarkets are only 250m away. Panorama is only 300m away from Alykes beach. The famous golden sandy beach of Alykes has been awarded the blue falg for cleanliness. It is ideal for families with small children as the sand shelves gently into the Ionian Sea. Many of our guests come from congested cities or busy lives. We want to make sure they feel the relaxing benefits of natural space, so have set our accommodation within 2500 acres of land. This means our 45 deluxe double & family rooms enjoy the extra space and comfort. From its humble beginings in 1986, the Leftakis family has built a reputation for quality, value friendliness and a williness to listen to their customers' needs. This has enabled them to attract regular visitors year on year with some arriving annually for the past 25 years.

This was our fifth holiday at Panorama and will definitely not be the last. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, both huge bedrooms, plenty of storage, very spacious compared to other Greek accommodation we have stayed at. Exceptionally clean swimming pool and all areas including restaurant. Sun beds always available. Greek night is amazing. Anyone staying here should attend. The family who run this business and their staff will do absolutely anything for you. We stayed on bed and breakfast basis. The choice you have is great and it’s all freshly cooked. Had a couple lunches here and all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed them. Only a short walk from the beach and restaurants, 5 minutes maximum. Great supermarket 200 m which stocks everything. We cannot wait to return again next year.

Third time coming to this beautiful place and already can’t wait to be back. We’ve been as a family and with friends. The hotel itself is perfectly situated with a short walk to the centre part with all the shops, restaurants and bars. There is also a supermarket no more than 5 mins walk. The pool is great, perfect size for the kids to play in and adults too 😉 and there’s also plenty of sun beds which are very comfy. Our room was cleaned, bins emptied and beds made everyday and our bedding and towels changed every other day. The maid we had was super lovely and kind. We stay in a family room which has 2 separate bedrooms and it’s a perfect size for us with two teenage boys. The aircon was amazing and worked very well too. The bar area and food was beautiful every time and my sons loved the Bacon club toasted sandwich and pizzas. I loved the Omelet. The Greek night WOW is a fantastic night. The food was beautiful and the entertainment is brilliant. My most favourite part is the family who own and run the place. They are absolutely amazing. Mavra, Nikki, Dennis, Dave and all the family are fabulous and always address you by your name which is a lovely touch that makes you feel more welcome. We first came as customers but left as friends and have a great friendship when we go. I recommended this place to loads of friends who have also been and enjoy it just as much as we do.

The Panorama exceeded our expectations. Super location, well maintained areas- in and outside, brilliant pool with more than adequate sun beds, great facilities and lovely people! We had 2 bedroomed family accommodation. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. Air con just right for us and added bonus of room safe. Panorama is a good sized complex where we all felt happy and safe. The Greek Night is definitely worth attending if you can get tickets - Opa!! We went as two adults, a 16 and 8 year old on SC basis but will return next year using the B&B option as it’s soooo worth it! Cannot wait to return. Just lovely.

An absolutely fantastic holiday. Mavra, the family and the whole team could not have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I stayed with a big group but was a solo traveller. I felt safe at the hotel and all throughout the resort when alone. I like to run and walk on my own which I did frequently. There's often no paths but the locals waved at me and said hello. The vehicles tend to drive in the middle of the road so were never too close. The higher you go the more spectacular the views. I felt safe walking home on my own at night and often went for lunch and dinner alone. Loved it so much I'm already booked for next year.

I feel compelled to write a review in response to the previous comment, that is clearly aimed at us (the other guests), rather than the apartments themselves. I travelled with 22 other family and friends to these wonderful apartments near the end of July for a 2 week holiday. There was absolutely no issue with reserving sunbeds. I put out approximately 10/12 towels to keep us in one space of the pool, to be considerate to other guests and due to being in a big group did not feel it would be fair on other guests if we were shouting over at each other across other families/couples. As a group we wanted to spend time around the pool together, where possible. As we were staying on a bed and breakfast basis we were up each and every morning and having our breakfast early, which finished at 10:30 and was lovely may I add. As such a large party, we were of the agreement we wouldn't take up a sunbed for every one of our party, and if a situation arose where there was no pool availability, we would start taking sunbeds away from the children in our group that frequently used them as we were aware we did have a number of them. At the end of the day we were also paying guests and should be allowed a sunbed too. Only once in 14 days did we feel the need to remove 2 children off sunbeds, when there were still 4 other sunbeds available to other guests. The rest of the time there were always sunbeds to choose. The apartments are small and very friendly and I appreciate it might have looked like we were taking ALL of the sunbeds but we didn't actually have 1 sunbed per 2 guests. We were not getting up at 6am to reserve them. We were all using them straight after breakfast and a number of us before. Mavra, Niki, Dennis, Dave and the rest of the staff work tirelessly to make these apartments like what they are, this is why 23 of us went this year. We met another family there a few years ago and have become really good friends, and have now gone back together, taking our friends and families for the for the first time. The Greek night is the best value for money ever and would highly recommend this. We went twice with our whole party, will we get blamed for that too?! If there is a problem for your room or other guests please speak to Mavra or Niki and they will try to sort out any concerns. They work non stop through the summer season making sure guests enjoy their stay. As nobody mentioned anything about the towel situation, I'm assuming nothing was mentioned on the stay.

Our room here was dated but kept clean, with fresh towels and bed sheets offered every other day. It appears all rooms have a poolside view with some also having sea views. The family that run this place work hard 24/7 to keep guests happy here but failed to consolidate their own rules regarding reservation of sunbeds, with one lady grabbing around 12-15 sunbeds early EVERY morning!! This did impact on our stay and we found ourselves walking to a beach side pool area that we found on a daily basis. The pool was also over-run with Lilo's and other swimming aids, mostly deflated and useless but just remaining in the pool taking up swimming space. Breakfast - if included in your stay you get to choose one item from the menu, this comes with juice and a hot drink. Would be better if you were given a set amount (8euros each maybe) as cereal is a lot cheaper than a full English! Nothing is self service, which we also missed. Hotel is nicely located, a short walk through the salt lakes takes you into the village. Supermarket is around a 5 min walk away. I feel if staff had acknowledged some of the issues around the pool area things may have been better!!

Response from ΜΑΥΡΑ ΛΕΥΤΑΚΗ, Ιδιοκτήτης at Panorama Studios Apartments
Responded 13 Aug 2023
Dear Deb, thank you for writing a review for Panorama. The Panorama studios have a wonderful location, quiet and close to beaches and a friendly team; I am glad you thought so too. Iam pleased that you appreciated our helpful staff and clean facilities. We at the Panorama, pride ourselves on the customer service and make every effort to ensure that our guests enjoy their holiday with us. You will recall that in an e-mail to us prior to your visit you requested one room upstairs with pool view room for two people. Although we are extremely busy at this time of year and room allocation is sometimes difficult ,we did manage to accommodate you as per your request. I’m shocked you say your room was dated. Your particular room was renovated for this year with all new kitchen, glass doors and mosquito nets. It would have been of great importance to have spoken to me while you were here, when you were asked if the room was ok after we had checked you in, giving us the opportunity to make your visit be memorable for all the right reasons. I am bitterly disappointed that your stay was not to your satisfaction, however, as Lindsay S stated in her review, you seem to have issue with the large party that was staying at the same time, but, as stated, you didn’t bring any problems to our attention until you were home, behind your keyboard! I think Lindsay has explained the situation of sunbed “Reserving” perfectly. They did not use all the sun beds, as we have over 90 sunbeds available, even though they were a party of 22. They just strolled out after breakfast (10.30am). You have to appreciate, in August, there will be larger parties with children and they want to play, with inflatables, in the pool. However, on checking our records, we noted that although you falsely say you had to go ELSEWHERE for pool space, you actually were at OUR POOL AREA most of the days, serving ciders and pints to your husband, according to our bar receipts! That's why Richard asked us to run a bar tab, as you were here every day! Why all these lies? Our breakfast is a fixed price when booking in advance. If you feel you didn’t get your moneys worth, maybe you should consider NOT pre booking breakfast, but pay for what you want every morning. Again, the TYPE of breakfast was clearly stated in your reservation form, so you were already informed about it. The breakfast option you had was the A La Carte option, where you choose one type of breakfast with different choices of how you want your food, for example, fried/scrambled eggs. But you must appreciate is a set meal, not an “All you can eat buffet”, again no dissatisfaction was expressed after you had your breakfast every morning. We have also noticed your latest bar tab of approximately 35€ remains unpaid, maybe you forgot? However you remembered to use our complimentary Airport drop off and submit such a negative review. We wish you well in your future travels and thank you for the appraisal of our staff. thank you best regards Mavra Leftaki
