We spent two very pleasant nights at the Cambrian. Room was warm and cosy and the bed really comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious, beautifully cooked to order by owner, Steve. Shame the hotel is only a BnB out of season, we would have loved to sample the evening meals!

My wife and I came back this afternoon from spending a weekend here. We have stayed in most places in new quay but are wishing we had discovered here previously. Steve the owner was fantastic and nothing to much trouble for him. Checking in was really straight forward and quick. We were shown to our room which was clean and... More

Nice little boozer with restaurant opposite Quay West. Nice selection of foods, some local and a fine selection of specials on the blackboard. Kids eat free. Think it's Monday to Thursdays / Fridays between 4pm - 7pm. Desserts are pricey though. Around £5 for a slice of cake. So if you want a main course only, then not bad value.

The room was fine, the food and service were first class - we probably put on a couple of pounds during our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the only downside being that our stay was only for a couple of nights. The short break, coupled with good weather and lovely country and seashore walks, meant recharged batteries... More

We were out for the day and popped in for a pint. The place is very good and the staff were very hospitable. We will call again next time we are in the area and we'll probably have a meal then too. We were disappointed that we didn't have time to eat here on this occasion.

After finding this little gem of a pub/inn, this was our fifth annual visit to the Cambrian Inn for Sunday lunch whilst on a weekend away with family as part of our stay at the nearby Quay West caravan site. The greeting from the staff was friendly and did all they could to accommodate us with our 5 year old... More

We were staying in Llanon for the week and we were looking for a dog friendly place to eat. We drove past the Cambrian whilst on our way into New Quay. We stopped to take a quick look and noticed they were dog friendly, but not open during the day. We rang later that afternoon and booked a table for... More
