My husband and I have recently returned from staying a night at The Beechwood. My only regret is that it was only for the night. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment. We both had the best nights sleep.
The apartment has everything and more you could want. We are looking forward to returning soon for longer.
Thank you so much for your hospitality.

My daughter and her family decided to holiday in New Quay, Wales and as we were looking after another of our grandsons we decided to travel down and spend a few days with her, her husband and two children. We looked for accommodation near to where they were staying and decided on Beechwood House, Llanarth, a few minutes away from where they were staying.
What a brilliant decision. Margaret and Caradog are two really super hosts, who would bend over backwards to sort out any requests. The rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast is one of the best I have ever had and I've had quite a few, believe me! We stayed in a ground floor apartment which had everything you would ever need for any length of stay. Fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, TV, CD player, a room with a double bed and a put you up single bed in the main room as well as a sofa which looked as though it converted into another bed. A trip round to the front door and breakfast was served. More than adequate parking, the free Wifi worked perfectly and if you needed any supplies there is a Premier shop with reasonable prices about 50 metres away which stays open until 10 pm most days. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back.

We've stayed here around half a dozen times now. We have a caravan nearby and it's very handy for out of season visits to check all is well.

Margaret and Caradog are the kindest, most thoughtful, hospitable people you could hope to meet - nothing is too much trouble for them and they will go out of their way all the time to make sure you are comfortable and welcome. Beechwood is a lovely, rambling old house, full of character and impeccably clean.

As I am disabled, Margaret suggested we take the downstairs apartment rather than an upstairs room. This is spacious, well equipped, warm and very, very comfortable; the bed in particular is one of the best we've slept in. Margaret remembered that my wife has had a hip replacement and put on a soft mattress topper before we arrived - so thoughtful.

You will not have a finer breakfast anywhere. The best quality back bacon, sausage and black pudding with tomato, mushrooms, egg and a fried slice. Limitless toast, home made jams, cereal and an enormous pot of tea/coffee - fantastic start to the day.

We will return to this B&B time and again, it is the most comfortable we have ever stayed in, but Margaret and Caradog's hospitality sets it well apart from any others.

We booked to stay for one night as part of a visit to see family also staying in New Quay. Booking was straightforward, Margaret and Caradog were swift to respond to emails. On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to the apartment - we were very pleased, it is spacious, freshly decorated and very welcoming. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was great and we would have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay - thank you!

If there was a chance to give ten stars, I would! I really don't know what we loved the most - the beauty of Wales, the warmth and generosity of the people, the wonderful hosts. I think that even a month we spend there was not enough to see and enjoy everything Wales could offer.

Our hosts, Margaret and Caradog, have become our friends! I have never met such warm and caring attitude. We are well travelled but for the first time i felt as if we were home.

Margaret and Caradog work very hard to make sure that everything is there for you. The place was very clean and everything we needed was provided, we did not even need to ask.

I could go on and on writing about great time we had but my advice to those who are planning holidays right now is to go visit Wales and stay with Margaret and Caradog.

A gem of a B&B. Margaret and Caradog have a warm welcome for everyone. Beechwood House is a lovely and comfortable B&B situated in a beautiful village. Good facilities and a good nights sleep. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Mobile phone reception bad but a WiFi that actually works alleviated this.
Perfect. Highly recommended.
