Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We absolutely loved staying here. We stayed one night only but we came down with our two collies. The farm is well signposted from the road, follow the track up tot he farmhouse. The owner came out to greet us and showed us our room. I think there are 4 self contained flats, each has their own conservatory and veranda. The bed was super comfy especially being 6 months pregnant, the wet room was so nice. The flat was done out really beautifully, very clean and fresh. There was a little kitchenette with tea, coffee, really Welsh butter, fresh bread in the bread bin, milk, jams in reusable kilner jars, water etc etc. The bathroom also had big bottles of a nice selection of shower gels and shampoos. I'm not exactly an eco warrior but I do love seeing less plastic being used these days. Fresh towels on the side and spare ones if needed.

You can order breakfast (a wide range of foods) through text or phone call and it's bought up to your conservatory to dine in your own room. The owner was so lovely and kind, very helpful and the whole place was actually dog friendly. We go to so many places where you don't really feel that welcome with dogs, but this place was just really welcoming.

Highly recommended even if you don't have dogs!

Recently stayed here for a brief one night visit and couldn’t fault it. Welcoming, comfortable and cosy cabin. Spacious and warm with a super comfortable bed. The mini-kitchen was stocked with every kind of tea you could think of, coffee, fresh juice, milk, bread, butter and jam. Dog friendly but spotlessly clean. Breakfast cooked fresh to order and delivered to your table in your cabin. Absolutely loved this little place and whilst this was a business trip, we shall certainly be back for pleasure.

The Swallows stood out from the crowd - how many B&Bs provide a fridge, micro-wave, toaster and kettle? We decide to spend 3 nights here and were not disappointed. We were met by Barbara and shown to our accommodation - it was not just a room! Breakfast (extensive menu) was served in a conservatory attached to our room. Tea, coffee, sugar, fresh farm milk, orange juice, yoghurts, cereals, marmalade bread and spread all supplied. The room was extremely comfortable. The Swallows exceeded our expectations. Thank you Barbara. We decided to use the T5 bus to go into Cardigan, a wise decision given parking restrictions in the town.

Met by the owner who was very helpful. Parking right outside the room. Incredibly peaceful setting. Ground floor, own door and nearby grass is ideal with a dog. I wished I had a torch as was dark if have to go out in the night. Very spacious room and wet room. Separate twin room which I didn't go in but makes it great for families. Handy small kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge, plates and cutlery so can bring evening takeaways back, and some food supplies. Happy to have the settee to watch tv in the evening. Separate conservatory was lovely (great heater) and breakfast delivered to there was super. Extremely comfortable bed and room was warm. WiFi worked with no problems. Just a shame I was only staying 1 night as a superb home from home for just me or up to a family of 5.

A breath of fresh air. This place is genuinely dog friendly, very clean and has everything you need if you need basic self catering in the day after your lovely breakfast. There’s plenty of choice for breakfast and it’s brought to your dining area at the front of your room at a time to suit you (between the breakfast service hours). There’s a good selection of cereals and bread for toasting and a pot of marmalade in the fridge. The host was contactable even when I arrived at 2200 and couldn’t find the place. I will return.

What a wonderful place to stay! The rooms were lovely and it was so nice to eat a hearty breakfast, delivered by Barbara, in the small conservatory that formed part of our room. Everything was very clean and tidy and Barbara is the perfect host and simply cannot do enough for you. We've already booked our return there in August. Thank you so much Barbara!

This place is amazing. Barbara is an amazing host. Her breakfast is out of this world..try the Egg Benedict..Amazing. So close to lovely, clean and quiet beaches. Accommodation has everything you want from a B&B but you feel like you are in a holiday home. Definitely going back again and again xx

Had a lovely little break here. Barbara couldn't of done more! Breakfast is amazing and the bed is the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the sun in your own little outdoor area.
