Went for dinner there for Sunday dinner with the family. Food was great and service was great. I have been back there three times now and have been pleased each time. Portions were a very good size. Would definitely go again

Entrance to Brosna Lodge is nice and I'd say it would be lovely to sit outside on a sunny day. Lunch was served in the bar which is quite dark and due a bit of a make over. The Bistro area that's obviously used for evening meals did look brighter and more welcoming. Food was lovely, couldn't fault it at...

A victim of a decline in tourism to the area yet it holds its own and value for money. Like a lot of places in Ireland now needs some modernisation but this is reflected in the price and more than made up for in the characters that work there and who provide a unique atmosphere which is priceless, Oh and...

As we passed through Banagher we happened upon The Brosna Lodge. The roaring fire and even warmer welcome was refreshing and frankly rare in this day and age! The food, team and atmosphere was lovely and when we pass through again we will be back!

Myself and my husband had lunch here today. Food excellent and very reasonably priced - 3 course meals for €19.95. Portions were large and my husband, who often complains about small portions, was full and happy on leaving. Staff very pleasant, helpful and courteous and the atmosphere was lovely. Eoin, the new owner was on hand to welcome his guests...

We have been eating in the Brosna Lodge Hotel on and off for the last five years. unfortunately over that time service of the meals has gone down and down. The meal this Saturday was very average in terms of quality and menu choice has remained a the same throughout. The early bird menu at 2x courses for 17 euros...

I stayed for a night recently in this "Hotel". Before I discuss what could be improved I would like to say the food is excellent both for dinner and breakfast and the staff are really friendly and nice although don't expect help with your luggage!! Needs for improvement: the rooms are shockingly poor standard with a 4ft6 bed as a...

My husband and I spent last weekend here. Before we entered the hotel another guest told us all the staff were very friendly and we found this to be true throughout our stay. We were in the Trollope Suite and it was lovely and spacious and had been upgraded recently. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. We...
