This hotel is set outside Porto Cervo and as such is in a remote position with its own private beach. The sand is stony and not as fine as other beaches around the island. Few people used the pool when we were there so it was lovely and peaceful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The restaurant food quality and variety is excellent and the service is outstanding. The food and drink from the bar is a little expensive which limited our use of these services. Evening entertainment is limited to a pianist/singer which was pleasant but a little monotonous. We would suggest hiring a car and seeing a little more of this beautiful island.
This a beautiful hotel in traditional style with opicturesque waterways running around the buildings, The rooms are spaious and well furnushed in traditional style. Lovely pool area, free beach chairs on a private sectioned off part of the beach. The staff couldnt be more helpful to make your stay enjoyable and to assist you do get about, they provide a mibnibus service to the two nearby resorts on alternate days. That said, a car would be necessary unless you are happy to just stay around the hotel as it is a steep uphill walk, with no pavement, to the nearest area with any shops and bars (only a few) and taxis seem to be 20 -25 euros no matter hiow short a journey you want to go. Also be warned drinks in this area are expensive, particularly bottles of wine in the hotel.
Nice place and people. Nice food and surrounding. Stylish with a piano bar each evening. Personnel seems to like children. The beach is small but nice and with a rescue team. The variety of food is satisfactory as well as the one of wine. Do not go there without a car. The public transport is a joke !
Really nice hotel in a great location just up from the beach and set in lovely gardens. Relaxing and enjoyable weeks stay with a good choice of food, particularly at evening meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
This was a very friendly hotel with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all very cheerful and went out of their way to ensure your stay there was an enjoyable one. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.I would highly recommend it.
