Another very, very enjoyable stay with Greg and Sandie. Perfect hosts always willing to help you choose the right areas to visit, drawing maps and informing you of the local knowledge. A perfect place, with beautiful views, to get away from it all. You couldn't choose a better place to have as your base for visiting all the beautiful towns... More

My friend and I had a very relaxing stay at Il Sorger del Sole. We wanted a spot to have some downtime in between partying stops on the Amalfi Coast and Croatia and this is certainly a good place to get a break from that - the region is beautiful and the local villages are mostly untouched by tourist trappings.... From the moment we arrived we were greeted in the most friendly and welcoming way, what a good start to seeing Marche, and what views over the countryside and coast from the house. The room was excellent, so clean and well presented and the gardens a real pleasure. The owners Greg and Sandie looked after us so well, and have... More

Another most enjoyable stay at Il Sorger del Sole. Hosts Greg and Sandie continue to provide excellent accommodation and hospitality in rural Italy. Greg's local knowledge and clear directions makes for easy touring within the environs of Cingoli and further afield. Sandie makes sure you feel comfortable and most welcome. The local bar/shop in Avenale village is a worthwhile walk... More

This was my second stay at Il Sorger del Sole. I live a busy life in a fast paced city. So a stay at Il Sorger del Sole is initially a shock due to being so relaxed and chilled out; such a difference from my normal surroundings. The first night of my three night stay I slept for over twelve... More

Really enjoyed our three night stay. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast was good, and as it was sunny we ate ours in the gardens.Totally relaxing experience sitting looking at the views. We visited Jesi which was worth a visit. The village is within walking distance and we found a shop/bar that serves cheap beer. It also... More

This was our second visit and this time we took the family with us. Set in a stunning setting, this authentic old house offered us a wonderful base to tour around a beautiful part of Italy. We visited Cingoli, Apiro, Treja, the Frasassi Caves etc. but my favourite was the opera in Macerata. Everyone is assured of a very warm... More
