the auberge is a former private house, now recently very sensitivly converted into a hotel with a lot of atmosphere and hospitality at its best! enjoyed a fantastic dinner with friends, great selection of swiss wines and the excellent claudia and murat as hosts - nothing else you could wish for...loved also the spacious rooms! Thumps up!

We were at the Auberge for 3 nights during a business trip. The host were very hospitable, welcomed us individually. The hotel itself is brand new furnished with great taste and best quality. The food in the bistro where we had one dinner is also highly recommeded - seasonal ingredients and home made pasta are a great plus. You are...

Really nice hotel in Langenthal, the breakfast could be improved, but it's nice. The location is great and close to the train station, the staff is helpful. It would be great if they could install usb chargers in the bedrooms and also add some vegan options to the menu. Good experience and highly recommended.

With hotel rooms fully booked or overpriced in Basel for the Europa League final, a colleague and myself opted to stay in Langenthal instead. We booked into Hotel Auberge, which is barely a 5 minute walk from the station. As choices go, the boys done good. It takes a little over an hour to get from Zurich Airport (where we...

Spacious rooms and luxurious environment. Very nice 'leaving room' at first floor, with space to relax. Giving a sense of being at home, with comfortable beds and large bathroom. We have enjoyed a Saturday night with family. Will certainly recommend !

Very tasty lunches on high level, almost fine dinning restaurant. Went here to get away from Bern and was surprised very positively. They also have very nice rooms and the staff and waiters were so nice as to explain everything and also show us the rooms. If i wasn't swiss, I would definitely be spending a relaxing weekend here.

Switzerland is a rich country but this hotel has decided to switch off, or lower, the level of the central heating during the night. As only one duvet is available in the bedroom, it is a pure scandal to freeze in the night for such a level of comfort. January is a cold month.... It's a pity that heating cannot...

This old mansion is beautiful. One the outside it looks old but the rooms are very well renovated and comfortable. The only complaints that I have are that my room was very hot and that the road nearby is very loud with the windows open. I was in zimmer 12 which is right next to the sauna and on the...

I stayed at L'Auberge this month for the Basel watch fair when I couldnt get into Basel. What a find! I was delighted. The hotel was previously a Private Mansion and this is all very evident in the rooms, the style, the ambience and decor. Really quirky with decor and room layout but oh so spacious. Quality bedlinen, duckdown duvets...
