We had a 2-night stay at Weiss Kreuz as we were participating in the trail races Transruinaulta/Transviamala. The hotel is very mordern, the room is simple but comfortable and nicely equipped. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is very nice. Great hotel and service.

A great hotel with everything you need, just up the road from the station? We sat on the terrace eating a great dinner shortly after our arrival, watching the sunset over the mountains. A nice room, spotlessly clean? Great place to start walking the Via Splurga from.

We stayed at this hotel the night before going out on the Via Spluga hike from Thusis to Chiavenna (Italy). The hotel is everything you expect from a 3 stars hotel - to be clean and comfortable. Also, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with explaining every we wanted to know about the Via Spluga hike. The dinner...

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed, good shower and varied breakfast. This was the first hotel we stayed in at the start of the Via Spluga walk to Chiavenna. Had a lovely evening meal on the terrace. We arrived by train so can't comment on parking but the hotel is not far from the station (take the lift...

After all there might be some hope for Swiss hospitality! And if it is the case, this is thanks to places like this one. Normally it wouldn't sound unreasonable to ask for a simple, professional, efficient service and a clean, normally equipped room at an affordable price. However some or all of this (especially the latter!) is unfortunately missing in...

Standard, comfortable hotel with decent wi-fi in centre of town. Food reasonable, and breakfast good. Service is attentive. Rooms are pretty standard, a reasonable size, and nothing really to dislike. Parking available nearby.

We had a very nice, modern yet comfortable room in this pretty little hotel. The service was friendly and helpful. It is located up from the train station and even though it fronts a road, we had no traffic noise. The breakfast buffet was a treat with lots to offer. This was the start of our ten day,130 km hike...

We spent a night there after hiking the Via Spluga in order to enjoy dinner at Schloss Schauenstein. This is a great hotel, not only is it modern and the staff very friendly, it offers a really good breakfast and value for money. One of the best hotels in Switzerland I've stayed in so far.

Gem of a hotel in the heart of Thusis. Located in the main shopping area and a short walk from the train station. Every service in the hotel is done with class from the greeting at reception, to the exceptionally clean room, to the delicious breakfast, to the atmosphere in the restaurant, to the presentation and quality of the lovely...

My wife and I (and our little dog) spent two nights here in this lovely hotel recommended to us by the restaurant Schloss Schauenstien. This hotel is spotless, the beds are top quality and extremely comfortable, in fact for a 3 star hotel it is exceptional. We had a lovely dinner there on the first night and the food and...
