#1 of 1 campsite in Crymych
Situated on the edge of the Preseli Hills, Caraway Meadows offers just five unique camping pitches at the source of the Eastern Cleddau River. Camping is ideally located for stunning walks, mountain-biking and horse riding. We are proud to be certified by the Greener Camping Club. The farm consists of 75 acres of permanent pasture and is managed to promote species-rich bio-diversity. Watch the birds, bumblebees and butterflies enjoy the hay meadows and beautiful wetland areas. Meet our friendly Shetland sheep with their colourful fleeces as well as our donkeys, chickens and cattle. Meet Shackleton, the Polish Gold Laced Smooth Bantam cockerel. We’d be more than happy to take you on a farm walk. This is a beautiful spot, in a quiet location, with spectacular views and impressive night skies. The surrounding area includes a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest), an Iron Age fort on nearby Foel Drygarn, ancient stone circles and craggy cairns. A bridleway takes you straight out onto the Preseli Hills. The world-class Pembrokeshire coast and beaches are just 20 minutes away. Amenities include compost toilets, a hot shower, washing up area, communal fridge freezer and charging points for mobile phones. Campfires are permitted in the fire wok supplied and we’ll supply you with an initial bundle of logs. Additional logs are available for purchase.

We have been to many campsites over the years and I can honestly say this is the BEST one we have found yet ! It is nestled in the Preseli hills very close to Crymych (a less than 5 min drive away for provisions). The site has 5 pitches each one is on it's own with you own personal composting loo !! There is a wash up area, a lovely shower room and wash basin and a fridge freezer. A fire pit is provided and logs upon request. The peace and quiet here is something we have been trying to find for a number of years and if this is what you are looking for then book it, you will not be disappointed. The owners , Patrick & Verity are the nicest, most welcoming hosts and will show you around their farm if you ask them. They are part of the greener camping club and if I could give this place 10 stars we would have done !! There are recycling bins and everything used ie shower gel (which is provided) and washing up liquid is all environmentally friendly. All in all a magnificent, remote(ish) peaceful camping site and we would thoroughly recommend booking here.....we will definitely go back. Thankyou Patrick & Verity, you are amazing, keep up the good work 💖
