Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel was excellent value for money. We travelled with Lochs and Glens and were warmly welcomed after our 12 hour journey. The food was excellent and the bar was reasonably priced. I did find that the WiFi didn't work in the Hotel I asked about this but no explanation except the tips on my phone to shut down reboot.I did find that several guests ran out of personal data and were unaware that the hotel WiFi wasn't working. The rooms were comfortable and warm.I would say that a few entertainment areas were cold but it wasnt a problem to me but older guests may find it uncomfortable. I cant review the entertainment as we stayed in the main reception area where the log fire was lovely. There is no walks except around the hotel but if you like hiking you can pop your boots on back pack waterproofs and OS maps if you are adventurous. We just relied on the coach trips to see the area.

5 days stay with loch's and Glenns food choices good staff excellent room cleaned every day and warm I feel the bar and entertainment area could be warmer in the winter months also being a mountain and mistletoe tour it didn't feel that Christmas vibe excursions were good especially the red deer centre . Tour driver Joe excellent .

The hotel is lovely. Staff ok. Rooms cleans food ok. But beware if you go out by taxi on a night be back before 10.30 because doors are locked and you can't get in. I didn't like this no staff on at all. No security. It actually felt like a care home. Even entertainment left before 10.30. doors reopen at 7.30 in the morning so you can't go for a early morning walk. Wouldn't go again

We stayed here with Lochs and Glens and from the time we arrived we were welcomed and really well looked after. The staff are all excellent and the food was wonderful. Our room on the second floor was warm and comfortable. The prices in the bar were cheap as well. All in all a great stay.

This is the 2nd visit to the Loch Tummel Hotel with Lochs and Glens coach trips. We were pleased to see that the majority of staff from the last visit were still there. We find the turnover of staff in a lot of Hotels is high. All the staff at the Loch Tummel Hotel are excellent, so friendly and helpful. The food is very good with a good range of choices for the number of people they cater for. On this occasion a Christmas and a Hogmanay dinner were included - party hats provided. The bedroom was large and always lovely and warm. A walk in shower which we appreciated. Cleaning was excellent. Looking forward to returning next year.

This was our first Lochs and Glens coach tour. The entire trip was first class from start to finish. The hotel is lovely and our room was excellent. We had 3 windows all overlooking the loch. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and nothing seemed to be too much bother. Our meals, including Christmas dinner and Hogmanay dinner, were excellent and were served quickly. Even the weather was good. What more could we ask for?

Went on lochs and Glen's coach trip. First time and won't be our last. The staff and service was excellent, everyone staff wise were so friendly and helpful. Nothing any trouble. The rooms were large and warm. The weather was awful but that's out-of our hands... entertainment was on each night, and being a Christmas trip plenty of Xmas tunes. Will go again but to one of the other hotels.

We had the most brilliant time visiting a part of Scotland that was relatively new to us all. Loch Tummel itself is absolutely stunning and the surrounding Lochs and Glens were breathtaking. I also want to say what a brilliant time we had at the hotel. From the moment we arrived every single member of staff were attentive and helpful. Throughout our stay all four of us marvelled at the way the place was organised and run - we arrived on halloween and left at Christmas which allowed us to see the hotel with all its marvellous decorations. The food was plentiful, delicious and with a great variety… again all the dinning staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms were large and extremely comfortable with a gorgeous view of the Loch. The management were again so welcoming… well done all.

5 day holiday, staying at Loch Tummel. Feeder driver John was on time and friendly. Stephen Taylor, main driver very good and his knowledge of the area was outstanding throughout. Hotel, clean, adequate food, but please don’t use tinned carrots as veg, everyone left them! Also the suede/carrot mash needed seasoning ,butter etc, again everyone left it. My favourite meals were Roast Beef and the chilli. Outings very good apart from Perth, wasn’t keen on that,I didn’t want to go shopping!. Some enter better than others. Liked the bag pipe ladies story. Also Phoniex Charles made us laugh with his bingo. Pity it’s such a long drive, with stops 12 hours! Returning 13 hours.Stephen did great, given weather conditions when we set off! Lovely scenery ,and dodged all the rain!
