Room was a bit cramped for 2 people, and could do with a bit more cupboard space, but beds very comfortable! Good shower/bathroom! Very friendly and helpful staff, both at Reception and in the restaurant. Very central for transport to other parts of the island, with bus stops practically outside and very close to ferries! Maybe could do with more...

I had an astonishing experience during my 4 week stay at Kennedy Nova Hotel. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel very welcome and appreciated. Actually, the amazing personnel made me feel like a family member. During winter months, Kennedy Nova hotel offers an extended stay super discount, unlike other nearby hotels situated in the same waterfront...

The hotel does not qualifies for a 4 stars hotel. Maybe for a 2 and a half stars hotel.. The cleanliness of the bed linen and the towels were by far totally absent, broken curtains, very old furniture, the room was very dark. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.

Decided to return for Christmas to New Year for a change, weather is good and all as it is in summer so is a success. Air conditioning acts as heater in case it does get cold.Christmas and New Year meals are at reduced rates for residents. All told a good choice for the holidays

This is a hotel at a reasonable price right on the bay at gzira although 100 yards away from sliema and a short bus ride to the excitement of Paceville. The hotel itself has agreat view from the 7th floor pool balcony. I was on a b&b basis and the buffet was fine for me but some of the half-board...

Had a stopover for less than 24 hours.. on transit. The hotel though un-noticable is located at a good place just opposite the bay near the Sliema dock. U can find many shopping areas and eateries nearby. Also u can find a small casino on the testaferrata very much walkable from the hotel. The reception was warm and friendly. They...

Cheap hotel with very bad service (poorly trained and careless employees), with large but dirty room, no blankets or heaters for the night, and relatively bad food. Regret to have such lousy experience and would have prefered to pay more and get better services.

location good. Hotel is dated. room wasn't ready: tv wasn't connected, remote control without battery's cover, need to flash the toilet twice for the waste to go through, need to be an engineer to figure out how to close and open the safe box not to mention $35 deposit to use it and then they charge you one euro a day...

I've already reviewed this hotel on expedia (which I used to book on one of those 'secret saver hotel' deals- blind booking where you are not told the name of hotel until after you booked) and was not going to review on tripadvisor. However the hotel have now been proven to be run and staffed by a bunch of liars....

Sheffield, United Kingdom

I stayed here over Christmas and the New Year a few years ago and it was absolutely fantastic. On reception there was an extremely pleasant, polite and friendly English girl for whom nothing was too much trouble. The Head Waiter was either Spanish or Italian with a great sense of humour and politeness.

I returned two years later and what a difference. The staff from my previous visit had left and had been replaced by dreadful staff, especially the young man on reception who was an Australian tourist working his way around Europe. I was put in a room at the rear of the hotel which was completely run down and looked like something from a hostel for the homeless. I complained at reception and the hotel manager was off duty. The Australian screamed a tirade of abuse at me in front of other guests. At breakfast time it was self service and if you were further back than half way in the queue there was very little food left and the staff would not provide any more. Many of the English guests were old men in cloth caps who during the daytime sat on the benches opposite the hotel and at night sat in the bar drinking pints of beer. There was no way of holding a conversation with them as they had little or no intelligence. The Head Waiter was local and may have been Ok as just a waiter but a Head Waiter he was not. The remainder of the staff were simply rude. I was only too pleased to leave and fly back home when I e-mailed a report to the local tourist Authority but other than an acknowledgement I heard nothing from anyone. I love Malta and may return in late August/early September but I shall give the Kennedy Nova a very wide berth.
