Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Once again our stay at Brickfields farm was amazing ! The hosts and staff are warm and welcoming! The rooms are perfect everything has been thought out well it’s like home from home. The surrounding area is a pleasure to look at outside your room with the Guinea fowl and wild life a pleasure to watch ! Once again we had dinner/breakfast at the on site restaurant ‘Feather & Duck’ this is outstanding the food is always amazing ! This is our second visit with a view to certainly come back !!

This was our first visit to Brickfieldsfarm and what an amazing little Gem. We was kindly greeted and shown to our Room (poppy room) The room was lovely and very clean and tidy and very spacious with a little kitchenette. The bath room was very nice with underfloor heating and stunning tile work. The walk in shower was amazing with a very high pressure setting. Lovely little private patio area. Would be lovely in the warmer months to sit outside and watch the Sun go down. We headed into Kirbymooreside for tea on the first night and the second night we booked a table at on-site restaurant (Feather and Beak) The food and service was 1st class and would highly recommend booking a table early as it seemed very popular. The breakfast on both mornings were very nice and all cooked to order. We will definitely revisit the little gem in the near future. Thank you Karen, Ian and your team.

HAVE JUST HAD ANOTHER FANTASTIC 2 NIGHT STAY AT THIS BEAUTIFUL BOUTIQUE HOTEL. THE OWNERS...KAREN AND IAN... ARE AJOY AND NOTHING IS TO MUCH TROUBLE, THE ACCOMODATION IS PRISTINE AND THE LOCATION IS AMAZING. THE FOOD IS STUNNING AND IS ALWAYS FLAVOURSOME. ALL THE STAFF YOU MEET ARE ALL WELCOMING. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISMENT HIGHLEY ENOUGH. HAVE ALREADY BOOKED ANOTHER 2 NIGHT STAY IN DECEMBER...CANNOT WAIT. KIND REGARDS DAVID AND TRACEY

The accommodation was good, very comfortable and clean. The food was tasteless although I was served tempura prawns without a batter. The atmosphere in the garden was relaxing and the service friendly Breakfast a bit slow but good food.

Thank you, sorry, did we make a mistake with your prawns? Normally we only serve them without batter for people who have very specific dietary needs and still wanting the king prawns which always served with a chilli jam and micro leaves! Agree that breakfast can be a bit slower on a morning where everyone arrives at the same time and of course we cook fresh food to order. Hope that wont put you off a third visit.

So peaceful. Each year we visit the rooms look immaculately decorated a d are really clean. Generous sized rooms, comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast but the evening meals are absolutely delicious - much preferred to other highly rated local restaurants. Ian and Karen are knowledgeable about the area and are happy to make recommendations for other restaurants and places to visit.

Stayed in the four poster bed. For the extra money we paid, a complete waste of money. Looked cheap and nasty. The room itself was vast, but again filled with cheap looking furniture. The shower unit spilled more water on the floor! Had to use the bath towels to mop up. The taps wanted adjusting, very stiff and again outdated. Very disappointed, and very over priced.

We stayed in the beautiful Poppy room. All amenities and very clean. Loved the walk in shower. Nice seating area and huge tv when you just wanted to unwind after a days outing. Great little kitchen area with plates, cutlery and tea/coffee making facilities. Fresh milk was wonderful. Loved the patio area with seating and binoculars to watch the wildlife. The guinea fowl are so entertaining and you couldn’t help watching their antics. It was a delight to see them foraging in the fields and occasionally stopping to say hello by sitting on the fence. Breakfasts are delicious and so good. Fresh quality food prepared to your liking. Ate to much but that’s what holidays are all about. Owners and staff are caring, helpful and lovely. Made guests feel so welcome. You have got this so right Karen and Ian. We had a super stay and will enjoy return visits. Thank you so much Rita and Graham / Louth Lincs.
