The staff and the hotel are fine and the food is very good, but the price is a little too expensive when compared with other similar priced hotels for what you get. A few little things take the edge off what you are charged. My wife and I were given an attic type room and although it was clean and...

We had a great 2 night stay. The staff were superb and the food was outstanding. We also brought our dog and were amazed to see a dog goody box in the room which was a lovely thought. The location is beautiful and we enjoyed some lovely walks; will be back.

Dear katycustard, Thank you for your review. Please accept my apologies for the problems with breakfast, unfortunately we had an electrical fault (which was fixed on the day) which meant that we were unable to use the majority of the kitchen equipment in the morning, I'm glad to say that the team did remarkably well in the circumstances. We look...

We had a 2 night stay here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was very good. The hotel is in a stunning location with views over the river and bridge at Burnsall and is also just a few miles from the impressive...

We really enjoy staying at the fell as we take our dog with us and she is always made very welcome. The staff are helpful and attentive. The rooms are more than comfortable with lots of attention to detail. We didn't have dinner but really enjoyed breakfast sitting in the conservatory with the fantastic view. Excellent value for money.

Staying in the area we arranged to have afternoon tea at this hotel. The view from the dining room would have been lovelier had it not been for the rain and mist, but the afternoon tea raised a smile. The quality of the food and presentation was in our opinion faultless, plenty of tea and coffee. The little brownies were...

Booked a group of rooms to celebrate a special birthday with dinner in the conservatory. The staff were all amazing and the service we received was excellent both at reception and in the dining room.. Food to a very good standard and well presented. Problems with the event service was overcome by reception staff and assistant manager.

A lovely hotel in a picturesque spot. The staff cannot do enough for you and were so friendly. Our room was a good size and had everything that we needed. A few little points which would have made us rate it 5/5. Milk in the room would have been nice, milk is provided in the communal fridge in the hallway...

Dear honest-truth07, Thank you for your review, I'm delighted to hear that you had a lovely stay with us.
