We were interested in seeing the countryside where Heartbeat was filmed. The hotel was great so full of atmosphere: small and cosy with lots of memorabilia. I had an absolutely dreadful experience here. There Staff we inattentive, rude and messed up my order. The food was very low standard, but worst of all was the manger who was doubly and rude and unwelcoming as all the other Staff. what a great shame, as the Pub has such a great history.

Food not at all as described as per the menu that we had downloaded from their website before our trip to Goathland. Vegetarian options very limited and overall food below average with above average prices for both food and drinks.
