The price in my eyes is well over the top . I have stayed all over the world so I'm in a good position to rate this place. We had just attended a Family wedding and decided to have two nights in this place. As mentioned the breakfast was very good ( they do a whisky porridge ) along with...

I have known this hotel for 14 years. This is the best place to stay in Steyning and also has a reputation among the local population for its very good breakfasts and Cream Tea's (which I personally love). All the staff are very helpful and attentive.

Very definitely a family run hotel. A wonderfully warm welcome and a real desire from everyone to make my short stay (just one night) as pleasant as possible. I was offered sparkling wine on arrival - but as it was just after 3:00pm I felt this was probably a bit early. My room was 'Pine' on the top floor, under...

A glass of bubbles on arrival, very helpful staff, a really comfortable bed and a hot shower... what more do you want after a 20 mile walk... superb! We didn't use it but the hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool and a small conservatory / bar... next time swimming shorts will be a must. Even though my room was...

Friendly check in with a complimentary glass of bubbly wine, which we drank whilst outside by the swimming pool enjoying the last of the day's sunshine. Our room was quite small but the spacious bathroom was a bonus. We had cheese and biscuits in the lounge later in the evening which was a thoughtful touch as this was free to...

We stayed in the room "Yew" on the top floor which is also the room people would run though if there was a fire! i found that a bit odd. The room was clean , older with comfortable beds and had a nice bathroom. There booking system could definitely be more organised . Breakfast was quite good served in Dining...

Have just got back from three nights at Springwells. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of lovely little touches like a fruit bowl in the entrance hall, a free welcome drink, a cheese board in the bar. On the landing is a supply of books, plasters, tampons and other easily forgotten items. The secluded garden and swimming pool are charming....

Staying in Springwells is like staying in a private family home. The rooms are individually decorated. The garden is very beautiful with several different areas one of which includes an outdoor swimming pools. Breakfast is very good and the porridge is to delicious. Friendly welcome with a glass of Prosecco.

We stayed here for one night for a friend's wedding. The accommodation was a little quirky but very clean. The staff arranged for us to check in early which was a great help. We were running late due to the traffic and the staff kindly sent up sandwiches and a tea tray to our room. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of...

The rooms here are characterful and charming and comfortable. We were welcomed with a complementary glass of prosecco and were also allowed to leave two cars all day in the small parking area (4 cars) at the front of the building which was very generous. The garden behind is wonderful with a series of separate small gardens and in the...
