We booked 2 rooms, direct with the owners, for a two night stay and came away very satisfied with the service we received, particularly from Claire ( one of the owners ) who hosted exceptionally well and very professionally. Our room was a good size and very clean though the en-suite was a little on the small size ( but did not inconvenience us too much as we were only on a two night stay ).The breakfast, served in our room, due to Corvid, was very good. The property has a beautiful large back garden, which in the warmer weather, would be an excellent choice for breakfast. We hope to return for another visit later in the summer.

Very comfortable stay at The Coast Yard and made to feel very welcome by our host Claire. First rate bacon sandwich and coffee for breakfast and very restful night woken only by the church bells! Lovely spot, well located with beautifully maintained garden. The room was well thought out, squeaky clean and cosy and we had everything we needed. Would recommend it.

Property was easy to find and communicate pre arrival. Check in was quick and simple. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Room was warm and cozy and the bed comfortable, best sleep I have had in months. Ample parking. Good breakfast. Plenty to do and see in the surrounding areas including pebble and sandy beaches both by foot and car.

We came to Selsey to visit friends and we found The Coast Yard on booking.com. What a lovely find! They were chalet style rooms placed in their beautiful garden and had everything you could have needed. So lovely and clean. If the weather was nicer, it would have been lovely to eat breakfast in the garden but this was brought to our room as they are not having guests in the main house at the moment. The owner Claire was lovely and a very good host and would highly recommend staying here!

I was in Selsey for a friends big birthday bash. The Court Yard was a gem of a find. Perfectly placed near to downtown Selsey and just a short stroll from all amenities. Quiet with a lovely garden aspect to the room. Lovely breakfast. Claire & Paul were very friendly hosts.

We had a short stay in room 9. It’s very comfortable and has everything you need, nice big room, with seating area and small shower room. The host is friendly and is on call for everything you need. The breakfast is lovely and you can choose what you would like to eat and it’s delivered at a time you would like. Covid 19 - we felt safe and confident that the room and communal areas were clean and well looked after. The processes in place made us confident and safe. We definitely recommend, thanks for a great stay!

Stayed here for the third time in four years, Clair and Paul continue to offer a high quality service, from the meet and greet through to our departure everything was smooth and welcoming. Rooms are clean, warm, well equipped and quiet. Breakfast service was perfect with plenty of choice and our order being delivered on time. We will be back.
