A family run, friendly and comfortable Bed and Breakfast in the recently refurbished former village post office. Located in the quiet Lincolnshire countryside, but not far from the centre of Lincoln, the antiques centres at Hemswell Cliff, the Lincolnshire Showground and Market Rasen Racecourse. Private off-road parking, free WiFi, Hypnos mattresses, comfortable and clean bedrooms (two with en-suite shower room), and separate dining tables are all part of what is available; and our breakfasts are highly rated by guests using quality local ingredients wherever possible. Lovely village pub and village store/post office located 2 minutes walk from the house. Evening meals are available by separate arrangement.

This B&B a few miles from Lincoln is well worth a stay. The hosts are very friendly, the room and en suite was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was outstanding. My only quibble is that the electric shower tended to deliver water of variable temperature, but it did at least deliver a large volume of water, better than many electric showers I have experienced. The B&B has off street parking and is in a lovely village with a pub. I would highly recommend it if you are visiting Lincoln.

I couldn't recommend The Old Posthouse enough. Super helpful and accommodating to one of my colleagues who was staying. I told them he would be arriving around 11.30PM and that was fine with them. They made the whole process smooth for him. He text me to tell me to leave an excellent review as the people were lovely. Thank you very much for making his stay excellent.

From start to finish the service at The Post House B&B has been outstanding, nothing has been too much trouble. The rooms were absolutely spotless (after all the places we have stayed, this is by far the cleanest I have ever seen a room!) everything that you could need, teas, coffee and even a personal touch of 2 slices of lemon drizzle cake were in the room for us, which was absolutely gorgeous...and was also refilled the next day!) The bed was huge and comfy and the breakfast was out of this world, huge portions and so tasty, 5* food! I have allergies too and Tony and Julia catered amazingly. It’s a 20 minute drive into Lincoln but there is also a lovely pub up the road (2 minute walk) called The Bottle & Glass that does food, which was also great with allergies! The way in which Tony and Julia adhered to the government guidance in relation to Covid 19 was also outstanding. They followed every precaution and we felt so safe and secure. We could not fault this amazing stay and would 100% recommend The Post House B&B to everyone. It’s one of the best we have stayed in and we would rate it 10/10!…

10/10 I’m not one for posting reviews of places that I have eaten/stayed. However, in this instance i feel the service we received was that good that it deserves to be recognised. I stopped here with my girlfriend for 2 nights. Upon arriving we was greeted by Tony and Julia, they were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. They cater to your every need. Our plan was to use the B and B as a base to visit Lincoln and its surroundings. The hotel itself is approximately 15/20 mins drive which was perfect for us as you find yourself just the right distance away from the hustle and bustle that comes with big cities. The room itself was spotless with everything you need. I would even go as far as saying it’s the cleanest B and B I have ever stayed in. ( We stayed in Room 1 ) the room is supplied with tea and coffee and we even had a slice of lemon drizzle cake waiting for us which I think offers that extra personal touch. The breakfast in the morning was something else. The quality of not just the service but of the cooking is something that most restaurants must envy. The menu offers plenty of choice and the food was cooked to perfection. Overall a great stay and I would 100% recommend.…
