We choose this pub with accommodation, as we were visiting friends and didn't want to drive too far! First of all, what a lovely welcome! We arrived at 2.15 (ish!) and checked in very easily with Lisa (Fabulous lady!) who took us to our room and sorted an ironing board etc, We had a quick snack and a drink before getting ready. The food was wonderful and would love to have had an evening here to eat!! The room was lovely, but the bed was a little low., very comfortable, but low (being of a certain age!!) Breakfast on Sunday morning was really nice (Full English!) which was included in the price. I would highly recommend The Plough Inn and will definitely be returning.

Splendid 2 nights to see in the NY 2021/22. A very homely, snug and welcoming venue. Open plan with ample/comfortable table and chairs for numerous customers. Varied menu, good portions with reasonable pricing. The rooms were spacious well equipped. Excellent range of Real Ales Wines etc. Superb breakfast. All this was presented by a superb staff... Vibrant, professional, charming. In particular... Laura was very helpful with our Booking details, when a glitch occurred using the Booking,Com website. Her approach allayed any serious difficulties. Well done to all...I thoroughly commend The Plough to all. Thanks so much.

Lovely Inn with gorgeous food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dogs welcome in carpeted bar. Will return regularly when in the area. Try the short beef ribs in Guinness sauce, to die for as was the chicken.
