Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Brilliant B&B, Michelle and Pete are fantastic hosts and by the end of our stay it didn't feel like we were leaving a B&B, it felt like we were leaving friends who we would see again.

The location is great for exploring Norfolk, although be aware you'll need a car to easily get to the B&B and get around. There is generous parking on the front, for ease of exit I recommend reverse parking onto the drive.

Breakfast was fantastic, we stayed in 3 different places while aware and Michelle's was by far the best breakfast, thoughtfully adjusting it after the previous day we'd mentioned in passing a high cholesterol issue. Also went out of her way to pickup contact lens solution we'd forgotten to pack.

WiFi is available and you get a decent speed considering the location. Thoughtfully there was a TV in the room with Netflix on should you fancy a cosy night in.

There is a pub within walking distance that serves decent food, handy if you don't fancy driving further out.

100% recommend staying in this B&B if it's in the area you're looking to go, one of the best we've ever been to.

A great B&B in a lovely village close to a variety of attractions - beaches, walks and historic houses (including Sandringham). Spacious bedroom, large bed, tea/coffee making facilities, fruit etc. Large convenient wet room. Great breakfast with everything included. Attentive and welcoming hosts.

My wife and I have just finished a wonderful few days staying with Peter & Michelle whose hospitality and caring was second to none. The bed linen and towels were superb and the food and overall attention to detail on the breakfast table beyond reproach.

Can not recommend Brechin Lodge highly enough. The accommodation, the food, the hospitality and overall care was outstanding. Michelle and Pete were like family, not forgetting Harry the dog. The warmth of this couple and their attention to detail will ensure that we return. I appreciated the individual empathy they showed to my 97 year old mother who also stayed there.

Absolutely fantastic B&B. Everything was spotless, well maintained with every detail just perfect. Michelle and Pete were so friendly and made us so welcome on arrival and showed us to the 'green' room. Large room with wet room on suite, comfy bed, tea and coffee, biscuits, fresh fruit and above all spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and especially the cooked breakfast so beautifully presented was a delight. Michelle will go out of her way to provide for your requirements. The service provided showed just how much these hosts care about their business. If only all hotels and B&Bs were as good as this one. Highly recommended. Oh and by the way Norfolk is so beautiful. What a lovely weekend we had.

I luv this bnb...Michelle and Peter are great hosts...the place itself is clean, tidy, modern and very comfortable and worth every penny.
Fantastic, pretty and quiet location with plenty of free offroad parking...near to the best restaurants and beaches in the county.

Absolutely fantastic B&B. Everywhere is spotless. An abundance of towels and toiletries await in the spacious bathroom. The food is carefully selected and locally sourced. Beautifully sweet fresh fruit, yoghurts and cooked breakfast are just some of what's on offer. Michelle and Pete definitely go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. From speciality breakfasts for all diets to dropping and picking us up from a wedding to save us worrying about taxis. A massive thank you for that. There is a little welcoming social club across the road for a few drinks to round the night off. Michelle and Pete. You have everything just right and more😁😍🤗👍

As other reviewers have said, nothing is too much trouble for this very friendly and welcoming couple. The room was spotless, with a big & very comfortable bed and all the ‘bits and bobs’ you could wish for - lovely & plentiful towels and extra toiletries in the bathroom cabinets. Michelle specialises in extra little treats and you can’t fault the breakfast - a delicious array of fresh fruit, yoghurts, jams etc, and a very skilfully prepared cooked breakfast exactly as ordered, using great ingredients. This is a real home from home and we would thoroughly recommend this lovely b & b. Liz & Clive
