We have ate at Berwick lodge twice now and will be again In a couple of days, the food is absolutely amazing you have to try it. The head chef is always creating brilliant combinations. I love ordering from the menu as you get little treats like amuse Bouche and pre dessert. The rooms are so interesting, all of them...

Berwick Lodge is a lovely building but it is a devil to get to. Steep narrow track with not enough passing places. Impressive reception, nice lounge but rather stark restaurant if you are unlucky enough to be seated in there. It's all quite nice and the staff are polite and efficient if not particularly friendly. The problem is the tea...

Last night was our second dining experience at Berwick Lodge. We were so delighted that after raving about the food and great service to our dear friends who accompanied us this time, that they were not disappointed in any way. We all had this seasons new tasting menu which just got better and better as the courses progressed. As my...

My wife and I had dinner on NYE our booking was easy and a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was gentle we dinned at 8.30pm entered the dinning which was pleasantly Christmassy, not over the top. We enjoyed our meal and the service and will go again. After our meal we sat by a lovely log fire and very nice evening

Thanks to Sarah at Berwick lodge for looking after us so well for my birthday, and thanks to Paul O' Neill @ Hattusa for the stunning food as usual! A proper 5 star hotel with a least 3 rosette or Michelin standard food at 2 rosette prices! The staff are unobtrusive and attentive, the room was clean and warm

I stayed at Berwick Lodge for one night, but wished I could have stayed longer. It is an old country house hidden at the end of a long lane. It's not easy to find! But well worth it when you do get there. Each room is different. Mine had a huge bed raised up several feet above the floor level...

Booked to stay at this hotel as it was 4 star. The bedroom was freezing cold as no heating on when I arrived late at night. The bathroom was tiny, when you sat on the toilet the sink was inches away from you. The wardrobe was half size not long enough to hang anything in and the telephone was on...

Dear 47guest I am mortified and very sorry your room was not as you expected. Housekeeping should have checked the heating in rooms as some guests do turn it off when they are sleeping. We have 2 small single rooms in the hotel and we try and make it as clear as we can on our website so the expectations...
