As a treat we decided to go for Sunday lunch yesterday so Googled for somewhere local to go. We chose Bagden Hall as the website stated 4 courses for £19.95. When we arrived we found that there was a 3 course menu for £19.95 but we settled for this thinking it must have been a

Dear Mark You were served your starter , main course & dessert in the Restaurant with a jug of iced water , then chose to have your coffee & mints served in the Bar area - that's 4 courses . We receive some great feedback back about our Sunday lunches and the value its offers- sorry that you feel a 3 out of 5 represents your experience. Caroline Gleeson General Manager

We grabbed a bargain with their winter offer. Room was Lovely. Food Excellent. Staff very Friendly . I have mobility problems and did not mention this when booking , I assumed they would have a lift . They didn't . Staff quickly sorted a ground floor room for me no problem.

As a dog owner myself I do not think the dining area is suitable for dogs. The hotel is near the motorway network making Manchester, Wakefield and Leeds all in easy travelling. There is a railway station in Denby Dale where you can take the train direct to Meadowhall shopping centre and Sheffield.
