Best customer service I've seen at a camp site! Every person we spoke to during our stay genuinely wanted to help, even offered us an extra heater for when it was due to snow! The hygiene of the washrooms was excellent in both mens and womens, and we enjoyed a decent, hot shower after a long hike! Clearly mapped out...

Had a lovely stay for 2 nights in a Hobbit Hole. My 2 boys (7 and 1) , were so excited all the time whilst staying here. The Hobbit Hole is spacious, comfortable to sleep in, warm and has great views of Ullswater. The park itself has a great bar and play areas and offers great and easy to follow...

We stayed in a Hobbit Hole on this site. The Hobbit Hole is basic but comfortable and warm and a good step up from camping. The scenery is spectacular from the Hobbit Holes. The facilities on this site are excellent and the pub is great. Couldn't be any better.

Another great review for this place. Don't want to make it long so I'll just say from check in to check out we received a warm service. We were shown to our pod right away and given brochures on all the local information and things to do. We headed out that evening to get some food but were turned away...

I have stayed at the quiet site twice now, once in a campervan and the second in the hobbit hole. The hobbit hole was amazing, I couldn't believe have big they are inside, and it was very clean and well kept. The staff were really helpful when the heating went in our campervan also, in the December & lent us...

Stayed here over the weekend. What a great place. The site was extremely well kept, clean and yes, quiet. Great facilities on site. Lovely and clean and more importantly warm toilet/ shower area. Little shop selling essentials and a charming bar with a log fire. Check it out on their website. Helpful staff on site. We had a problem with...

We stayed here for 5 days during October half term. We loved it! Very pleasant site, nice and quiet at night and in the mornings. The pitches are well spaced out, showering facilities are good and there are baths to use too. The onsite bar is excellent. Play room for the children and relaxed area for adults with an open...

Myself and my girlfriend booked a two night stay here the week before christmas. We stayed in a hobbit hole due to the cold weather and the quirkiness of it. Best decision we made. Upon arriving we were greeted at the well stocked shop and made to feel welcome instantly. We were then taken to our accommodation and given some...

I found out about this site whilst searching for caravan storage in the Lakes. Their sister company provides storage and will tow your caravan to this site if you book a pitch and let them know you're coming. What sold it to me was the fact that it's open all year round where as seasonal pitches tend to operate for...

The pods were very hospitable and the toilets/showers were extremely clean. The best part about the site were the staff. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. They picked us up from the nearby inn and offered to drive us back. We had forgotten our blow up bed but they provided us with one and offered extra heaters if we...
