We had a lovely time

Elliot and his family are lovely people and clearly care a lot. Very accommodating and after I managed to puncture my tire through my own fault they drove me to local town for food and drink for me and my girl friend. They also helped find a mechanic, and gave us the whole main area to ourselves to eat our dinner on our one year anniversary since we couldn’t drive anywhere. Level of service was impeccable and very friendly.

Breakfast was great and a nice selection, the full Scottish breakfast was my favourite.

Rooms were clean, stylish and beds I found as 6,2ft male very comfy. Bathrooms were clean with good water pressure and mine only had a bath with shower head attached but this didn’t bother me. Rooms also came with all the normal quirks of a hotel room such as shampoos, robes, TV and mine fridge etc.

Located near a multitude of towns such as Invergorden and around an hour or so drive max to any walking trails or skiing centres so as long as you have a car you’ll be able to get around fairly easily for day trips which I thought was very good for such a rural area.

Hot tub was modern, clean and a nice added touch.

Overall great value for money and will definitely be back in summer

Highly recommend to anyone, especially couples.

Simon, Elliott and Liz are incredible hosts who care about their guests and made our stay very comfortable. We arrived in the area but initially were lost finding the place (our GPS stared us off course), Elliott was quick to get us back on track and even drove out a bit to find us from our position (Pro Tip: Call them first for accurate routing, GPS will steer you a bit astray). White Rose Tower is roughly a 5-10 minute drive in from A9. The pictures of the property don't do it justice. We were booked into the terrace, which overlooks a lovely garden and fountain pond. Our bed was very comfortable and cozy, we had two very restful night's sleep after long days around the highlands, and awoke to really great breakfast in the morning. We felt very welcome and at home here and intend to visit again in the future. Thanks for a perfect stay.

The warmest of welcomes and most comfortable stay on our two night autumn break, Just a short drive inland while travelling the NC500. White Rose Tower is set in a peaceful and tranquil landscape, surrounded by woodland, a beautiful roe deer crossed our path as we arrived.

A home to hug you, love the huge duvets and cosy throws on our sumptuous twin beds, it really is a home that snuggles you. Breakfast is a real treat in the Great Hall, with an ambience of warmth and splendour and a cosiness that comes from our hosts warm and inviting ways.

Well that’s the bed and breakfast, but White Rose Tower is so much more…. Liz and Simon are a delight to meet and the care and lavish attention to every detail is evident, their guests every wish is accommodated.

We took a fabulous hike to the top of Fyrish Monument, after reading on the website and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Platform 1864 in nearby Tain, many thanks for the recommendations and most perfect directions.

It was a joy to meet their two dogs Archie and Suki, welcoming us like old friends, and yet only after asking us if we were ‘dog friendly’, otherwise they would have remained out of sight. We so appreciate the thoughtfulness and mindfulness, Liz and Simon you really are the tops. Bless you, and thank you.

We had 2 nights at White Rose Tower and were bowled over by the accommodation which is pure stylish luxury. The breakfast was wonderful - a real treat with lovely special coffee.
There has been incredible attention to detail which leaves you wanting for nothing other than to stay longer.
We had lovely weather so we could make use of the garden which has water features and comfortable furniture.
Liz, Simon and Elliott were amazing hosts who were very accommodating, friendly and fun.

Wow!! What a fabulous place to stay. This is a an immaculate, stylish and extremely comfortable gem in the middle of the Scottish country side.
We stayed for 2 nights in the 'The Study' and had the best night sleep ever on a phenomenal mattress, We woke up to a breakfast fit for kings served in a grand hall making you feel like royalty.
The hosts are an absolute pleasure and we found it very hard to leave and move on with our journey. The thought that has gone into the accommodation and the care in which they treat their gusts is second to none. We were met like royalty, treated like friends and left feeling like family. We will definitely be back.
If you are looking for some luxury and and a tranquil escape this is for you. This suits couples, individuals, groups of friends, there are nooks to sit an chat and play games, there is a fantastic garden and loads to explore on foot too.
This is exceptional value for money.

What a wonderful few days we had at ‘White Rose Towers’.
Liz, Simon and Elliot made us feel very welcome. Elliot was a wealth of information on places of interest to visit, putting them in a logical order to maximise our daily experience of the area. We visited sights that we would have never found or even known about as a visitor to the area.
The Scottish Breakfasts were exceptional, so much so we often missed lunch, having a coffee and snack until dining out in the evening.
White Rose Tower’s rooms were decorated to the highest ‘boutique standard’ and the Grand Hall was an amazing space where you could relax in front of a warming log fire feeling like Lord and Lady of the manor!!
The family went above and beyond what we expected and made our stay very memorable.
I must say Liz & Simon you have created something truly special and we look forward to visiting you all again.

White Rose Tower is a place that demands that you visit again and again. I should know, this was my second stay, and it won’t be my last! It styles itself as a Bed and Breakfast, but it’s much more than that.

Arriving at White Rose Tower is a delight. Within a few moments of leaving the main road you find yourself in the middle of woodland, before turning into the drive and feeling like you are at the start of your own story by Sir Walter Scott.

You enter through two huge sets of doors into the wood panelled main room. The room can only be described as baronial. You know immediately that you are in the heart of the highlands in your own hall. The photos do not do it justice.

I have stayed in two of the four suites at White Rose Tower. I booked ‘The Chamber’ in Summer 2021, and more recently ‘The Study.’ Both rooms were warm, comfortable, stylish and luxurious. It’s impossible to say which was my favourite as both of them were equally fantastic. We were so impressed with the bedding that we asked where they came from so we could buy a set for home!

The accommodation is owned and managed by a family who moved to the Highlands from Yorkshire to the Highlands a few years ago. They are clearly proud of what they have achieved at White Rose Tower – and rightly so - particularly when your realise that they have done it in spite of the Pandemic.

White Rose Tower is also their home and it is obvious just how much they love it. It’s also obvious that they have fallen in love with the Highlands and the area around where they live!

Their breakfasts are magnificent. You won’t need to eat anything else all day.

The surrounding area has things that will cater for everyone. The local landscapes are as magnificent as you would expect. If you like ‘a wee dram’ then you have a number of distilleries within striking distance. And you don’t need to look far for great food – hats off to the Storehouse a few minutes down the road for its coffee and cake!

If I could give the White Rose Tower 10 stars I would! We spent two nights here this past week and every single aspect of this place is truly amazing! And I’m still blown away by how affordable it is … I’ve spent more on an average Marriott room in the states. If you are looking for the very best place to stay in all of Scotland, you’ve found it!
The building itself is stunning inside and out. The guest rooms and bathrooms are beautifully-appointed with such fine attention to detail … from the beautifully-designed rooms, to the handmade mattresses, to the high-end bath products and towels. The breakfasts were amazing, and are made to order with careful attention to each guests likes and wants. Additionally, they have a book of fantastic recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We took advantage of many of them and were not disappointed by any in the least. Also, the brand new hot tub was awesome!
However, the true highlight of our stay were the husband and wife owners, Elliot and Charlie! They were so incredibly welcoming, kind, engaging and just sweet and good people all around. We honestly felt like they were friends we had known for years after just a couple of days. The only bummer for us was that the dogs weren’t there this week …. we’ll have to meet them next time!

The White Rose Tower exceeded my expectations. It is located in a tranquil woodland setting just a short drive from the NC500. The interiors are stylishly exceptional for a B&B and its welcoming Great Hall was an added bonus with its sumptious sofas. Liz, Simon and Elliot are excellent hosts and have created something really special and memorable. The breakfasts are delicious and generous. The bedroom was beautifully appointed with first class linen and towels.

A very comfortable and relaxing stay. Cannot wait to go back!
