Stayed for two nights at the inn. lovely setting in the courtyard. quiet room. was shown to our room by a lovely chap who explained about switch for shower. bed was comfortable although not as clean as it should be. see pic. towels provided were a bit old and not clean. I was shocked that they had been put in... More

After looking for somewhere cheap but nice to stay for a quiet weekend visiting the area, the Inn seemed like a good choice. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations, the room was shabby and could do with a deep clean and a lick of paint, the wall above the headboard showed marks of greasy heads resting against it, there... Great staff who are willing to help with anything...dated accommodation but clean and comfortable and comes at a great price..would recommend. Not sure if it has wheelchair accessible rooms, but it has downstairs rooms, would have to contact them to find out about accessible bathrooms.

To be positive let's start off with the good. The coaching house is a an interesting historical building with lots of history. The staff seemed mostly friendly. Now it comes to the negative parts. The rooms need a good dose of tlc, the one in particular where we stayed, it was poorly maintained and there were hazards especially towards safety,... More

My wife and baby son stayed here at the weekend before going to a wedding. The staff were incredibly friendly and really helpful, lovely people. They turned around the room really quickly so we could check-in at 11am (!) and get changed before the wedding at 12. Wonderful. We paid around £50 for the room which was a bargain. Longforgan... I thought twice about writing this but people are allowed to write there opinion and this is mine. Stopped off last week for something to eat, four adults and nobody liked their fish and chips. Cold chips, freezing peas, served on cold plates and we couldnt find the fish in the huge amount of batter. We were told it was a special batter .... More

We regularly make trips up and down the A90 by coach, and after some giving some gentle encouragement to our driver, we decided to make the stop off at the Longforgan Coaching Inn. The bar staff and regulars alike were all good men and made us feel most welcome, and after a thirsty trip the selection of beers on offer... More

Who would have thought that a little bit of paradise could be found just off the A90? Craft beers, fine dining, a beer garden and ample parking – the Longforgan Coaching Inn literally has it all. A few of our party fell ill shortly before arrival, but thanks to the balmy rays enjoyed in said beer garden, as well as... More

On arrival we were shown to our room which was in a courtyard setting. It was explained to us that the only room left was a family room and the shower room / bathroom was a wet room set up. The coaching in does need some updating however the staff all had a welcoming attitude and made us feel very... More

Smashing wee place. Probably the best coaching inn in the northern hemisphere. Friendly staff, great selection of beers and food to die for. Weather was excellent too, but then again, the sun always shines on Longforgan 😎 Cannot wait to get back 😀
