Excellent accomodation, a very comfortable extremely well appointed room and impeccable service. The 7 course tasting menu, with accompanying wines, was an absolute delight, a meal to smile your way through. After a great breakfast in the morning we were taken around the garden by one of the senior gardeners. She obviously shared Raymond Blanc's passion for using top quality...

I expected to enjoy this experience and I did overall. The building and grounds are beautiful. The food was mostly exceptional, though we didn't like the (stunning-looking) canapés - any of them (!); I would also argue whether something advertised as a soup course should come in a shot glass. Is that not an amuse bouche? As always with these...

Arrived today at 13.00 for A Daily Telegraph offer! My wife and I chose to try Raymond Blanc's little gem in Oxfordshire - still euphoric from our experience. Can't say I would have ordered the meal out of choice but having sampled these delightful dishes served by first class crew, we found the whole experience wonderfully faultless. Thank you everyone...

The [7 course] menu was delectable, the execution was impeccable, the service was extraordinary, the appearance was delightful, the combination of flavours was tantalising, the overall food experience unforgettable. Room okay, should do better. Thank you.

We stayed here for the night in the room named Hollyhock, a Junior suite. The hotel is easy to find and is clearly sign posted from the main road. When we arrived our car was parked for us and our luggage taken to our room. The Reception area had very friendly staff waiting our arrival and an open fire and...

Booked a night away with 7 course dining experience for my wife's 40th. The staff were brilliant as soon as we arrived, the food out of this world and the accommodation superb! The location is stunning and the grounds a must to walk around. Also enjoyed having a tea from the generous tea menu - loads to choose. Selected a...

This is a somewhat delayed review for a visit in October 2016 when I had dinner with some friends and stayed overnight. Le Manoir is without doubt my favourite restaurant and it was a joy to return. The service is faultless, the hotel and grounds are tranquil, and the food is, of course, absolutely sublime.

A special treat for my husband's 50th Birthday. I remember reading a review that alluded to those driving the happy honda were as welcome as the boastful Bentley.. or something like that. Front of house staff were brilliant. Exceptional and we were put at ease after experiencing the WOW factor as you drive into the grounds of the hotel. Our...

We live not far away but our lunch was only the second time we have been to the Manoir, the last one about 12 years ago! That visit had stayed with me and my husband was sick of me saying that the scallops at the Manoir could never be bettered. I could be wrong but it seemed as though nothing...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Created by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc OBE, Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons is renowned for offering one of Britain's finest gastronomic experiences. Situated in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Great Milton, it is also one of the country's most intimate and original hotels, with 32 individually designed guest rooms and suites. The hotel received two Michelin stars in 1984, the first year of its opening, and, remarkably, has held them ever since. Surrounded by lawns, flower borders and orchards, the luxury hotel enjoys an idyllic, typically English setting. But beyond the eye-catching displays are vegetable and herb gardens that provide the kitchen-and the acclaimed Raymond Blanc Cookery School-with ultra-fresh, organic produce, ensuring the Michelin-star restaurant remains at the cutting edge of culinary excellence. ... more   less
