Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our daughter booked us into The Cherry Tree for her birthday. After our short stay, I have to say wee were thrilled! It's newly opened, and furnished beautifully. We had the Champagne Suite. The bed was lovely, if a little soft, the room was fantastic. Tall ceilings with rafters, fresh milk for tea or coffee (almost unheard of elsewhere), and a really beautifully presented on suite with shower. Piping hot water, windows that actually opened, and a TV we didn't even bother to turn on. After a pleasant night's sleep, we had a full English breakfast - beautifully cooked by the owner who is a delightful woman. - and very well presented. We could have had fresh croissants or pastries as some of the other guests did. Breakfast takes place in the cafe downstairs. the cafe is also used by local people who pop in for coffee. tea and freshly made cakes and pastries. We will be going back!

We popped in for a cup of coffee whilst staying with our friends in Chinnor. Excellent service and coffee was very good. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. The place had many people in all enjoying what looked like a superb breakfast. Would highly recommend and just a pity we live all the way up in Northumberland as we would love to have a place like this near us to visit.

Housed in an old country pub, The Cherry Tree is now a gorgeous, boutique B'n'B with recently refurbed and delightfully decorated rooms and a very smart café, serving great coffee and delicious snacks. Gosia and her friendly team offer a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation, whether for work or leisure. The country location is not far from Chinnor and Thame and has easy access to local countryside and The Ridgeway or the M40 for business. If you are not staying over it's still well worth popping in for a coffee and a delicious warm brownie or two!

My wife and I found this small and recently refurbished hotel so convenient for our Ridgeway trek. It's a beautifully and stylishly modernised old building in a pretty village about half a mile from the Ridgeway. We had one of the smaller rooms at the back of the building, which we found nice and quiet. We had an excellent night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. Fresh milk was freely available for coffee and tea. Everything was in good order, including a large and excellent shower. The self-check-in process was very straight forward. The owner was always available via SMS or 'phone, should there be any questions. We met our friendly host at breakfast the next morning. The full breakfast was excellent and, in addition to the standard items had some less usual options: I had smashed avocado, poached egg and slices of Polish sausage on sour dough toast. Delicious.

We stayed in the scandi room for one night. The room is beautiful everything was spotless and brand new. All the decor and fixtures are high quality. Bed was very comfortable. My only one niggle was the heat. The day was fairly warm but the room temperature did not drop below 25 degrees all night so was very warm. Luckily a fan is provided a thinner duvet may have helped too. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated. Food quality was high end and they were good at catering for my gluten/ dairy allergy at breakfast. We would visit again.

We checked in around 8:30 pm, and the self check in instructions sent to us via text message were very easy to follow.
Our room was exquisite, stylish, very tastefully decorated, warm and extremely clean and comfortable.
Tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and a bottle of water all supplied in the room, and various toiletteries were also available.
The beds were very comfortable, and the quality bed linen was fresh, crisp, clean, and provided an excellent night's sleep.
Breakfast was a combination of a good range of continental and cooked food, and all the staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly.
Overall, a very pleasant stay, and we will most definitely stay again, and would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone.
Thankyou.

My sister and her partner stayed at the newly opened Cherry Tree (B&B & coffee shop) for a pre-Christmas family gat-together and were not disappointed. Their room was the 'Hollywood' room (each one is different) and spotlessly clean, modern and fresh. Breakfast was served with a carafe of coffee (much enjoyed) and included very tasty polish sausage as well as all the usual favourites. They were greeted by Gosia and made to feel very welcome and they would definitely consider staying again when they next visit. So lovely to have a coffee shop in our little village - it's well worth a visit.

We have visited the Cherry Tree twice this year as its very close to our family two miles away.
This beautifully renovated boutique hotel has everything you could possibly wish for for a quality stay. The rooms are individually appointed to such a high standard with great attention to detail for your comfort. The staff are super friendly and cannot do enough for you, your welcomed like old friends.
Breakfast has something for everyone, excellent standard of food and preparation, during the day the breakfast area is a coffee shop, which is funky and colourful with a lovely atmosphere.
Belle and the staff make your stay memorable and wanting you to go back.

Decided to stop off mid dog walk for a break.
Very welcoming owners and they have done a lovely job with the decor inside. They welcomed myself and made a special fuss of my Vizsla, Tess, with a towel to dry the rain off and dog bed at the ready.
I had a rich hot chocolate and at that moment fresh warm croissants came out of the kitchen so it would have been rude not too indulge !
Definitely a great place to stop for cyclists and walkers, and they have 11 rooms for anyone travelling a bit further. With inside and outside seating, next time I will be trying some of the excellent looking menu.

We had a fabulous stay at The Cherry Tree. I contacted them directly in a panic in June because i was attending a wedding close by but wasnt allowed to check in early to get ready/dressed there so sought out nearby hotels in the hope of having the option to get ready and then go onto the venue afterwards. They were so accomodating and gladly accepted me checking in earlier (for no extra charge!!). Its a great location, close to the motorway so has great connections. Its a stunning B&B, the rooms are gorgeous. We stayed in Scandi (5) which still had character with high ceilings and beams. Clean, beautifully decorated too. They have white towels (like most hotels do) but they had a smaller sized towel that was black and had the word “make up” so you had something to wash your face with or dry it so you dont get make up on the white towels, thought that was brilliant. Had the best nights sleep ever, comfiest hotel bed weve had in a long time. Breakfast was lovely , my husband also got to try some polish sausage which he thoroughly enjoyed! We will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely stay. P.s resident doggie is a cutie!
