Would highly recommend the brown trout for a quiet relaxing break lovely warm spacious rooms and the food is second to none. Very reasonably priced as well and dog friendly if your dog needs a break as well.

I ordered chicken liver pate starter. It came with two slices of buttered soggy toast. I was expecting preferably melba toast or even savoury biscuits. My main meal was good but the chips side order were the biggest chips I have ever had - too big!

what does the entertainment consist of on a Saturday night and what time does this go on to?
We were there over the new year period. You would need to contact the Brown Trout. I do know that some locals attend at weekends.

Hi 2 of us have booked a double room on the 13th of May for 2 nights , now we've got a friend who wants to stay , can he stay in our room if we pay extra thanks
If we book a cottage can we order food to be take in the cottage from the brown trout dinner menue
