Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Super little find. Room very spacious, massive super king bed, underfloor heating kept us nice and warm and the shower was excellent. All amenities inc hairdryer, iron and ironing board, coffee machine, kettle, smart tv and plenty of towels. Would absolutely stay again!

We stayed at this accommodation after cycling the Peddars Way from Thornham (Castle Acre is our halfway point), and it is brilliant. The price per night is very reasonable for what you get. For a family room you get one double bed, and a single (which is VERY small), a coffee machine, a kettle, a fridge and a bathroom. Everything in the room is clean and tidy, you can tell they clean it well. The only thing they can do that would make it pitch perfect is allow the heating to be changed at ease as we felt the room was slightly on the cold side, and currently the only way to change the heating is that you have to request for it to be changed at the pub which is a bit of a nuisance. Overall a great one night stay, we will definitely be back if we ever cycle the Peddars Way again!

Just spent a very comfortable and quiet night here. Very clean. For once a family room with a proper child’s bed in and plenty of space. Having arrived after 11pm, it was so easy to use the virtual key to access the room. Would definitely come back to stay here.

Before I begin it's well worth mentioning that I am notoriously difficult to please! Equally I very rarely leave reviews, however I simply couldn't stay here and not share my experience. We stayed for 3 night at the end of June, unfortunately we were unable to use the app due to a broken phone screen so I called ahead and arranged for a key card to be left at the neighbouring pub, the staff there are lovely and couldn't of been more helpful or kind. The room itself is truly unique and has the most charming, clever and superbly useful furniture. The room wasn't serviced during our stay and I actually quite liked that, there were plenty of provisions on arrival for us and we did meet the lady that was cleaning other rooms, she ensured we had everything we needed and informed us that she would be there in the mornings so if we needed anything we were just to let her know, she was lovely! The room was spotless, and trust me I went out of my way to find even a tiny amount of dust, I couldn't!!! By far the cleanest place I have ever stayed. So I can promise anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this area, book here, you will not be disappointed . Thank you very much for a thoroughly enjoyable stay, we will definately be back next year. Sam & Suzanne

Used this as a stop-over on our thrip to see friends, it did not disappoint. The room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom, it is quite new and they are building more units at the moment. Bed comfortable, nice to have coffee machine etc, only downside there is no breakfast but Swaffam close by with a range of cafes. Would stay again.

Stayed here last Sunday and Monday! It was our third visit here with our dog 🐾 We had room 2 again (had it last time) all good in there except the curtain pole was hanging off but we were told to be careful and not to pull the curtain to hard. Everything in the room for a stay! Bed is enormous! Loved our stay and highly recommend 👍🏻

I can’t believe the previous negative review about scratchy sheets. This is a great pit stop before you strike into the rest of Norfolk etc. Great TV, tea and coffee/ kettle, spotlessly clean, quiet. Just a lovely ambience. Price is good. Pub next door for dinner if you like. Breakfast at Waitrose Swaffham or Whittles cafe in village or Ffolkes or Hotek down the road or wherever you want.

I had the opportunity to stay here during covid whilst locked out of my own country due to the closure of its borders. They were able to accommodate me very efficiently at the last minute. Very spacious and comfortable room. Beautiful blankets. Lots of hot water. Very pleasant ladies who look after the rooms and a charming fellow called Neil who helped me with some local information. All in all a fabulous experience.

No frills sums this place up… Beyond a trendy name, some unbelievably good PR (they must know someone in the industry!) this is a very BASIC accommodation. Scratchy sheets, thin towels, tepid water - I know it’s advertised as that because it’s eco - (I’m all for saving the planet - so no problems there). Fine if you need a pit stop. No breakfast facilities near by… wouldn’t return .

Can’t fault this accommodation, check in process worked really well through an app, was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the room was and bathroom for me, my partner and our Labrador. Facilities were great, there was a fan, fridge, water, tea and a coffee machine, has various bathroom items (shampoo etc) included if needed. Large bed was really comfy and big TV which was great for us to relax after a long day watching the planes at Lakenheath. Pub on site was lovely staff were friendly we got a couple of drinks and cutlery from here. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, towels provided. Would highly recommend especially for pet owners.
