We stayed here on a business trip, on arrival we were informed the bar and restaurant were not open . So had to drive to find food. The room was cold and damp with no working heating . On the third night we got back to find the room had not been vacuumed and the towels were left in a...

I can highly recommend staying here as I have just spent a week there. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was excellent and great portions. A brilliant location as it's just off the A36. So I would most definitely like to stay there again sometime in the near future. A big thank you to everyone who...

We stayed for 5 days August bank holiday week. The hotel was busy with all manner of guests from families to cricket teams (very well behaved) to business men in conferences (in the function room). We were greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful and given lots of local knowledge of where to go and things to do throughout...

Stayed here for one night on a business trip. Staff friendly. Room was dingy, shabby, damp and had a musty smell so bad I could smell it on my clothes all of the next day. Dirty glasses in the bathroom, wipe marks on the sink from poor cleaning. Stains on the carpet. Mould. After a very long drive I was...

Beautiful location. Arrived in carpark what a beautiful looking hotel. Welcome was friendly. Found room to be damp it had musky smell and cold as ice no heating option. Outside was stunning however inside needs some tlc. Chose not to stay for breakfast. Bit of a let down to be honest but then booked at a discounted price. Not likely...

A nice hotel. Comfortable room with a good breakfast. A good location for visiting Ivybridge and not far from Plymouth. We enjoyed lots of walking locally and on the moors. There are also lots of nice beaches within easy reach. Trago mills is a must with children and for shopping.

Had read a real mixed bag of good and not so complimentary reviews but see as you find. A clean and tidy bedroom with a nice on suite plus loads of towels and toiletries. Bar with friendly staff and nice food from a fairly small menu. No pretext of being 5* but a good place to stay on route and...

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are good and clean but the breakfast in the morning is delightful. I think this is a family owned and run hotel, if it is them they are doing a fantastic job either way, thank you for a very warm welcome and being so kind to us all. We stayed mid...

Recently returned to this nice little hotel - the staff continue to be it's greatest strength. Yes, the rooms need a refurb but at £69 it's much cheaper than any alternatives I could find. Very accessible, as the A38 is close by - took about 10minutes to drive into Plymouth.
