Well, I booked this hotel last minute, as we were going to a wedding in Pilling. Initial impression, very welcoming land lords - lovely ambience. The rooms were well made up, big bathrooms, comfy beds and very clean. Evening meal was lovely, quick service and piping hot food. Breakfast was simple, and full English. Would definitely recommend, The new landlords...

Landlord/Landlady were both friendly and welcoming. Food - average pub food. We had a comfortable bed and enjoyed a good nights sleep. Good Wi-Fi connection. Breakfast was plentiful and we were offered further coffee and tea. Overall service - very good.

We called in here for a drink on a Friday night after not having been here for several months. There was a great atmosphere and the service was friendly and after looking at the menu and seeing the daily offers we decided to return that Sunday. We opted for the Sunday roast, there was a choice of pork or beef...

We had a lovely roast beef dinner with friends yesterday. The beef was to die for moist and so tender. The starters where very nice and tasty as where the sweets. The new chef came out of the kitchen to talk to us which goes a long way in our eyes. The new landlord and landlady are very friendly as...

We stayed while visiting a nearby function. Lovely landlady, welcoming and helpful despite working all hours under the sun. Small double bedroom with ensuite - basic but clean - more like staying in someone's spare bedroom than in an hotel. You wouldn't want to stay for a holiday, but ok for a night. Comfy bed. Tea and coffee facilities and...
