Lydcott Glamping is a luxury retreat nestled in a quiet rural location just outside Looe, with stunning sea views and beautiful unique wooden-clad cabins.

Each cabin is fitted and furnished with stylish comfort in mind, including en-suite facilities with fluffy towels, a well-equipped kitchen – and naturally, huge downy queen sized beds.

Head outside to discover your very own firepit and barbecue, complete with seating for late-night stargazing over toasted marshmallows.

Outside, relax in the huge comfy hammocks (big enough for 2 people!) or enjoy the plentiful outdoor space for some garden games.

Located next to a working farm, you can really experience a taste of rural Cornwall. Enjoy freshly laid eggs for your breakfast, and watching the much-loved chickens free ranging the site – you can even meet them and have a cuddle if you ask the owners!

Order one of Lydcott Glamping’s famous local hampers for your visit – choose from a Breakfast Hamper, local Cheese Hamper, or of course a Cornish Cream Tea Hamper – just remember it’s jam first in Cornwall! The bread and scones in the hampers are expertly baked fresh for your arrival by the owners, and all other ingredients are sourced locally from neighbouring farms.

This little Cornish haven is ideally located to explore Cornwall or just relax and enjoy everything the site itself and local area has to offer – from the many stunning beaches (less than 10 minutes away), to cute little Cornish coastal villages, the famous and breath-taking South West Coast Path, National Trust properties, the Eden Project, Adrenalin Quarry’s giant inflatable water park and zip line, wine tastings, Alpaca Trekking and much much more.

With a mixture of different cabin layouts sleeping from 2 – 6 people Lydcott Glamping is ideal for a romantic break as well as a family holiday, with plenty to occupy the kids – or even book the whole site for bigger private gatherings. Private car parking on site and located away from main roads. Well behaved dogs are welcome in some cabins.

A great time away in such a peaceful location. Emma and Rich are welcoming hosts, not forgetting the dogs! Will definitely come here again. A convenient base to explore Looe, Polperro, Golitho Falls and the south coastline.

The Pilchard was an amazing cabin. Very clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a great family holiday. Loved the extras they included for us - pumpkin carving and kit for our son was very appreciated. Emma and Rich were very professional and helped with our enquires.

Just amazing, views, chickens, Emma's bread, accommodation. So welcoming and so comfy. The dog loved it too. And the baby met baby chick's. Nothing was too much trouble. Recommendations were great and we loved the pumpkin.

This truly is a jewel in the crown. We had such a lovely warm welcome and despite the weather not being the same, we had an amazing time. Stayed in Prosecco cabin, which was so cosy for a couple and had everything you needed. The added gift of Prosecco was a lovely touch. A dose of rest and recuperation. Just perfect. Can’t wait to return.

This was both mine and my wife's first time glamping, and what a brilliant time we had. We decided to stay in The Pasty Pod at Lydcott Glamping site. What a great place, the pod was well equipped with everything that you would need, and NO TV (Great). Our 3 nights stay wasn't long enough really, would have liked to have stayed longer, so will be returning next year 2024 for a longer break. We never got to meet Emma, Rich and the family. But I'll like to stay you've done an amazing job, well done. I would recommend anyone thinking of going glamping to definitely go the Lydcott Farm Glsmping Site. Regards Hans and Dawn

My first experience of glamping and I was thoroughly impressed Emma, rich and family have done such an amazing job with their family business. The cabin was so cosy and clean, we were amazed at how well they managed to make the bed for our arrival! The little decorations for our anniversary were such a lovely touch as was the locally sourced breakfast, homemade bread and bottle of Prosecco! If I could’ve stayed forever I would’ve! Thank you again, hopefully we will be back!

We had 3 nights in the beautifully cute and comfortable Pilchard! The ‘sausage’ cabin as my son called it had everything we needed to self cater and the most gorgeous view over the fields and woods to the sea. Inside the cabin was as aesthetically pleasing as the setting outside, with loads of twinkly lights and thoughtful touches to give it real character. We got the breakfast hamper for our stay which i’d highly recommend - great produce and Emma’s freshly baked bread was the best… also, the cheeky wee welcome bottle of fizz was an extra unexpected touch! Emma & Rich were really friendly and welcoming and are clearly passionate about making the whole experience special. Thank you!

Had a great two nights here. Cabins are really well kitted out with everything you’ll need and lots of decorative touches. Bed was super comfy and views from window at end of bed were amazing. Emma, Rich and their children were so welcoming. Local hamper we ordered included sausages, bacon, eggs from their chickens and freshly baked bread made by Emma. Bottle of fizz in the fridge with a welcome note attached was a nice touch. Would highly recommend and plan to return

We stayed for 2 nights in the Pasty Cabin at Lydcott Glamping. We had the most amazing stay and would highly recommend visiting! The cabins are beautiful inside and out and are so wonderfully created and cared for by hosts, Rich and Emma. The quality of everything in the cabin is high, and the cleanliness is excellent. You can really tell that everything has been thought through to make your stay enjoyable. We had a dog and 2 young children with us, and they were well catered for too. A dog towel, dog bowl, long lead and hook on the deck, and a tasty treat were all provided. And there were lots of outdoor games etc dotted around the site for the kids (swingball, footballs, swing on tree branch), as well as a box of board games inside the cabin to use. There was also a really great library of beach toys to borrow (we went crabbing for the first time, borrowing the nets etc & also some great local knowledge from Rich!) We loved that the site is also eco friendly, and supports other local businesses for supplies etc (eg the tea and coffee in the cabins!) We had such a lovely stay that we will be back to visit again for sure. (Ps. There is also an EV charger on site, which is super helpful if you are travelling with an EV! )

Outstanding holiday destination. This was 5* luxury but in isolated pods, which were so unbelievably cosy and warm despite good old Cornish storms! This is a brilliant place to head to discover the Cornish coast, lots of local areas to visit, but without the fuss and people involved in hotel stays. The delicate but very clear care that Em and Rich pay to your stay is top level, they are not intrusive but on hand at all times for info or anything you may need, and our cabin was prepared with lots of lovely perks like warm bread, eggs and local butter on our arrival, bubbles in the fridge as it was our anniversary and sweet little notes of help. Immaculately clean, the decor was stylish but retaining Cornish beach theme, the family are all lovely, warm people and our dog was welcomed too. We loved our stay and will be returning in the winter. Highly recommend to anyone vulnerable as my wife is in chemotherapy but we could enjoy this holiday because we were in our own space and the high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
