Stayed at Wringworthy in September 2020 for 2 weeks in Horsehoe Cottage. Greeted every morning by loads of friendly hens and chickens, which we fed by hand, with the owners consent. Great location and very cosy accommodation which despite the circumstances around Covid-19 the owners (Michael & Kim) left us to enjoy without interruption or any fuss. Our cottage was clean, well furnished and amply stocked with cooking utensils. It was a welcome respite to return to the cottage at the end of a long day exploring the Cornish countryside and coastline. Wringworthy is a beautiful site encompassing a selection of dog-friendly self catering cottage accommodation situated close to Looe. There are plenty of facilities on site including an outdoor swimming pool which was open for use, on a strictly one-cottage/household at a time basis. The owners kindly provided plenty of common sense information with regards enjoying a clean/sanitised visit to the farm which we found both helpful and non-intrusive at the same time. It couldn't be better situated for local beaches with Seaton just 10 minutes away. We would most certainly recommend Wringworthy as a holiday destination and also return ourselves. Well done to Michael & Kim for making it such an enjoyable holiday amid the most difficult of circumstances for the hospitality sector. Thank you!

We were offered a last minute weekend at Manor within Wringworthy Cottages, having been camping for the week in Newquay. with storm Alex coming in with high winds and heavy downpours, we packed out tent away in the wind and rain, and were welcome by Kim and Michael for the end of our trip to Cornwall. Manor sleeps 2 and was extremely well equipped with all the necessities needed for a break away. It was extremely warm and very cosy. We loved the quirky design, where the bedroom and bathroom were located down a set of stairs, whilst the kitchenette, and lounge/diner on the main floor. It was gorgeous! Lovely old beams and exposed brickwork gives it character, and adds to its charm. The water was very hot and pressure from the shower head was fabulous! Felt completely Covid safe, absolutely spotless everywhere, contactless handover where the key was left in the door ready for us to enter. We were asked to take all our laundry to an outhouse, leave windows open on leaving, which gave us confidence in safe proceedures for all using the cottages. Kim and Michael provided an extensive book of information about the area, where to go, things to see, where to eat and places to shop. Which was extremely helpful!! We got our supplies from the local farm shop which a wonderful place to use! Can recommend their sausages and bacon!! Thank you so much for coming to our rescue for a last minute booking!! We will most definately be returning - without the tent!!

This was an escape from the COVID world with perfect accommodation for my needs. Peaceful surroundings, everything you could need in a rental property, easy access to beaches, towns and countryside. Great access to North and West coasts but ideal for minimal travel discovering beautiful parts of Cornwall. National Trust properties within easy reach, The Lost Gardens of Heligan a comfortable travelling distance. Tranquility in a beautiful setting, delightful birdsong and the animals on site made for the perfect break. Thank you Kim and Michael for your non intrusive hospitality and the great standards you have achieved in the cottages.

We have recently returned from a fantastic trip to Wringworthy Cottages! We visited in February - not the usual time to visit Cornwall and we did actually visit last Summer but we certainly enjoyed it just as much despite the colder weather! My sister and her family arrived just before us and I had a lovely text saying "This place is AMAZING!" which made us very excited to arrive! As soon as we arrived we were greeted to such peaceful surroundings of the countryside - you truly feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The cottage we were staying in was so lovely and warm. It felt so cosy. We opened our stable door to a number of chickens on the doorstep! My 12 year old niece loved seeing the chickens and the donkeys! The bedrooms were comfortable and the cottage had everything you could require during your stay - it was perfect. We explored the Games Room. My partner and brother-in-law played some pool and sister and niece enjoyed playing some air hockey! I explored the large amount of leaflets detailing local attractions and places to get food. Wringworthy Cottages are close to the gorgeous coastal villages of Looe and Polperro. They are well worth a visit and less than a ten minute drive. We chose to get takeaways on all nights we stayed there and it was so convenient to pop to Looe to pick up our dinner - it was still hot when we arrived back! It was also convenient to pop over to Plymouth for a day of Adventure Golf which was great fun - another activity we would highly recommend! It has definitely inspired us to stay in more cottages in future and we will definitely be visiting Wringworthy Cottages again in the future!

We visited Wringworthy along with other family members hiring 3 cottages between us. We had an amazing stay, we all made use of the pool & games room (the kids were never bored). We loved to visit and feed the animals. We would laugh with our coffee in the mornings at the chickens & their antics. The owners were very helpful and friendly - bless them carrying all our shopping and putting it away, leaving freshly made scones for us to enjoy after a long journey. Accommodation was clean and well kitted out, even supplying extras for our baby. We made amazing memories, will definitely be visiting again. Thank you.

We booked two cottages next door to each other for our two families holidaying together with kids ranging from 2-10 years old. We had a wonderful time - having an outdoor heated pool is amazing, the playbarn and outdoor play area also kept them occupied. The children especially loved going with the owners to feed the animals twice a day. The cottages were well equipped and the owners really helpful and nice, even freshly made scones jam and clotted cream greeted us on arrival along with tea coffee and milk in the fridge! They also took in our online shopping order for us and put it away, definitely going above and beyond. We stayed in peak season when other cottages were also occupied but it never felt busy or crowded and we always felt like we had our own space. The cottages are a little tired but are exactly as the website pictures depict and the stay is overall excellent value for money given the normally high cost for accommodation in Cornwall.

We stayed in the cottage “little” for a week, we had a lovely time. The cottage and grounds are clean and well kept, the animals all well looked after too. Swimming pool / games barn etc all a massive positive, we all enjoyed using these facilities! A short drive from the cottage and you are in Looe. On arrival we were left tea/coffee and scones / jam/clotted cream. Would highly recommend Wringworthy!

Great time had by 4 women. Landlady was very hospitable and treated us to scones and cream on arrival, then a wonder around the grounds. Perfect for weddings and families as it has a decent size games barn, which has pool, air hockey, table tennis and lots of play toys for youngsters. In season there’s a swimming pool. Roaming around are chickens and other animals to get up close to. The wedding barn is great and amazing value for Money, as it includes the cottages sleeping up-to 42. It’s about 4-5 miles from Looe and the train station (around £12 by taxi). Looe is extremely pretty and so is Polperro. There’s a ‘whats on and what to do’ book there, so worth reading as lots of info in it. Takeaway menus are in the games room. The cottages themselves are very clean and well equipped. Ours slept 6, a double and single on the ground floor (the coolest temperature room) with a shower room, then the lounge/diner/kitchen on the middle floor, on top floor, a bathroom, a separate single and twin room. The central heating is adjustable by you. It has a microwave, cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, toaster. Tea towels and bath towels are supplied with hand soap, plus 1 toilet tissue in both loos. Unsure about pool towels. There’s parking right outside the cottages, so easy for loading and unloading. We had a great time and I’m sure you will too.

Last minute decision to have a few nights away at half term. The booking and communication with the owners was very efficient. When we arrived we had a lovely cream tea waiting for us, fresh milk ,tea and coffee a very pleasant surprise. The Manor cottage was perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. Very clean and had all the equipment we needed. Ideally situated near Looe perfect for an evening stroll and plenty of choice for food. We went to a few lovely beaches but Seaton was our favourite. The animals on the farm were very popular with the children and lots of fields on the doorstep to walk the dog. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
