Had a fantastic birthday celebration meal for my husband last night. Welcome drinks in front of the cosy fire and then being taken down to the cellar bar which is stunning. Live piano all night created a fantastic atmosphere and the food was cooked to perfection and delicious, cannot fault at all. The staff very attentive and made you feel...

Booked for a celebration meal and was not disappointed. The welcome was lovely with nice wine and beautiful food. Great selection of small or large plates so different appetites are catered for. Lovely staff with delicious reasonably priced food. We cannot recommend highly enough.

Went to the restaurant for joint birthday celebration. Loved every minute from the second we were greeted at the main reception door until we left. Shown through to the bar and had lovely service whilst selecting from the menu. Great idea of small plates or large plates as you can have as little or as much as you wish. We...

We held our daughter's wedding reception here on August 13th. What a day! The sun shone throughout, making the venue look even more stunning in its beautiful grounds. Rebecca, the Wedding Coordinator, was amazing. She ensured everything ran smoothly on the run-up to the wedding, and throughout the day. The Front of House staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much...

This is a terrific venue. Perfect for weddings, big occasions, parties etc. Slightly surprised to be asked to keep the noise down in the bar one evening because the owners live upstairs. Do they want us to keep turnover going, or get a good night's sleep? The staff are very helpful but it all lacks a little bit of experience...

Dear Angus S, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We want each guest to have the most enjoyable time when they come and stay at Hillbark. The only time we would ask guests to keep the noise to a minimum would be if our reception team get complaints from other residents in the building - it would be...

Hard to exaggerate just how amazing a wedding venue the Hillbark is. If you have 300 coming to your wedding this place isn't for you if however you have 40 or 50 for the day and 100 at night…it's perfect with a capital P. One of the big benefits is because its an intimate service based operation very often, like...

Dear Sircharliesmum2013, There is no dress code anymore, which is part and parcel of us changing the restaurant and ethos. The ethos behind the uniform is to reflect our concept of the Riviera Restaurant.
