We were looking forward to a lovely chilled out weekend, however we had the complete opposite. Our original room we were given hadn't been cleaned! So we were given an alternative room half the size with old, dated furniture. The beds were uncomfortable and lumpy pillows. The following night we had the misfortune of listening to a function which was...

Other guests kept us up all night i think we got an hours sleep. Whole point of staying here was to have a nice chilled night. Ruined. Especially when you upgrade and its a waist. Apart from that hotel is lovely and staff are excellent

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was lovely. The hotel in itself appeared very run down, paint scratches and dints to the walls, mold around the bath and room not very clean.

We upgraded our room, and this was a dreadful mistake as it was on the route for a drunken wedding party staying in the hotel, with riotous laughter, arguing, and shouting throughout the night until gone 4am.

We stayed for our Wedding Anniversary on the Friday deal which included evening meal. Staff in restaurant where very helpful with a fussy husband and allowed him to choose from the normal menu with additional charges. Breakfast I felt was slightly over priced for what you receive. Pool facilities fantastic, helpful and friendly staff. Maybe need a changing room for...

I originally wanted to stay in Hoylake, but it was booked out. So stayed here instead. The hotel is at the edge of a lovely area, not far from the train station. The hotel is fun, and active, and is used ( especially at the weekend) for weddings, family get togethers, and friends going out. I liked the vibe to...

We enjoyed our stay at the Village Hotel. It was very convenient for sight seeing the area of Liverpool and surrounding area such as Chester, The staff were very frindly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Parking spaces were plentiful. Would definately use again if in the area.

Once again, up in the Wirral for a get together with a group of friends, 3 night stay, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms. Some of the rooms are in the process of being refurbished, but any disruption to guests is absolutely minimal. Certainly give the Village Wirral a massive thumbs up.
