We booked a family room through Legoland holidays and then booked an extra 2 nights directly with the hotel.

We were in the Green Wing. We were on the ground floor and had a nice view from our room overlooking the garden area. Our room was at the end of the corridor so noise wasn't really an issue. The room was unfortunately very hot. There was a fan in the room which was good and luckily we had brought a fan as well otherwise it would have been impossible to sleep in that room. There was a safety latch on the window (which were like french doors) which was good for security reasons but at the same time, the latch didn't seem very robust. Also, as there was a latch, you can't open the doors wide enough to cool the room down. As I wasn't sure how secure the latch was and we were on the ground floor, I really didn't want to leave the door open at night but I had to open the door in the middle of the night as it was very stuffy and my kids were sweating, so I resorted to leaving the door opened but I had put a few things by the door almost like a barricade.

Our 2 kids had the sofa bed which had a very thin mattress. But as it was so hot, I put the duvet down on the mattress which made it a bit more comfortable and the kids just used the duvet cover as their blanket. With the sofa bed made up, there was also no space for the chair in front of the table.

Breakfast delivered to the room was fine, and we went to the bar to get coffee and hot baps in the morning. I had rang ahead to find out what was available for breakfast so I knew I had to bring cereal and weetabix for our kids and I was able to get some milk at the bar in the morning. We didn't mind having breakfast in our room and found it quite relaxing having breakfast in bed.

We ordered room service on our last night which arrived very quickly. The pizza was good and the portion for the kids meal was quite generous so I was glad I only ordered 1 (3 course meal) for my 2 & 5 year old to share. It would've been better if there were more options but we thought the price of the meals were good.

The room was quite modern so it looks like it could have been refurbished recently but there were stains on the carpet and mould in the bathroom. There were also only 2 hooks to hang towels in the bathroom. As we were a family of 4 it was very annoying having nowhere to hang the towels to dry. An extra 2 hooks in the bathroom would've been handy. On the other hand the pouch provided with the mask, sanitiser and anti-bacterial wipes were really useful.

We coped during our stay as we were prepared and we made it work for us. The grounds were also really nice and the kids loved the play area. However due to the negative points as mentioned above, especially in relation to the uncomfortable temperature in the room, I don't think we would come back to this hotel.

Overall, this hotel is ok. We were situated in the Old School wing. The room was small but it was ok for one night's stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean overall. They provided a care pack containing hand sanitiser, face masks, gloves and socks which was a nice touch. The shower was was great but the complimentary shampoos weren't good. I ended up using my own instead.

There seemed to be a lot of children running wild at nighttime in the garden. We heard shrieking and shouting as late as 11pm. The staff did not seem to intervene. We overheard other guests complaining about the following morning so this was not a problem isolated to our room. We also heard a lot of slamming doors in our corridor.

The reception staff were helpful. They agreed to store our bicycles for us in the back to keep them safe which was appreciated.

The food offerings were a huge disappointment for us. Upon arrival we were told the restaurant was fully booked for the whole weekend. This was a let down as we'd been looking forward to relaxing in the hotel that evening after a long journey. We were offered a severely reduced room service menu which was essentially pizza and salad. I understand COVID means they can't seat the usual number of people in the restaurant but I think they should have advised a reservation would be required when we booked the hotel. Alternatively I think they should have offered a larger room service menu to compensate for a reduced seating in the restaurant.

The breakfast on offer also wasn't ideal. They left a paper bag with orange juice, a granola/yoghurt pot and a pain au chocolat outside our bedroom door. The bar was also giving out bacon/ egg/ sausage sandwiches. When we booked, we were not advised there would not be a normal breakfast offering. While the hot sandwiches were a nice jesture, no butter was provided so they were dry, the sandwiches were lukewarm, the meat serving was a little small with poor quality sausages. Ketchup was provided in a pot but there was no knife to spread it, and no plates were provided. Tea and coffee were available but there was no facility to sanitise the coffee pots/ hot water pot that everyone was touching.

The hotel is pretty well located about 5 minutes drive from Windsor.
The extensive grounds are nice to walk around but as others have noted there are overgrown patches ( noticeably the tennis courts). The swimming pool and spa facilities are of course unavailable due to COVID.

Overall we did expect more from this hotel and I think we would choose to stay elsewhere next time.

We stayed here for 2 nights to coincide with a visit to legoland. Since our last visit 4 years ago this hotel and been refurbished and looks fresh and clean in the common parts. Our room was clean and comfortable however my son's bed was a camp bed/pull out bed which looked uncomfortable but he said was fine (he's 10). I missed the nice toiletries we had last time but there was shower gel and shampoo on the wall and the Wellbeing pack with masks/hand sanitiser was a nice touch. The rooms lacks air conditioning but a fan is provided. Our main bugbear was food and drink. As the restaurant is for hotel guests only we didn't think there would be an issue but were unable to book a table for either evening. Food is served in the bar however after 5pm this is either a pizza or salad. I understand the need for social distancing, however this is a large hotel with suites currently not being used. If there is insufficient room in the restaurant, why not use one of these for catering? In any event , I don't understand why they could not accommodate all guests if there were several sittings and screens could be used to separate tables as I have seen in other restaurants. We did eat in the bar the first night and had 3 pizzas, onion rings and 3 drinks at a cost of £68! The hotel appears not to have signed up to 'dine out to help out'. We had a main meal off site on the second day and popped in to the local tescos for evening snacks. We did see guests eating takeaways in the grounds so it seems to be a common issue. The hotel are missing a trick. Overall, the grounds are lovely but I think that's what you are paying for as hotel wise, we have stayed in nicer Premier Inns.

We stayed for the night with family and booked two rooms. When we arrived at the hotel I was blown away by the grounds, they are beautiful kept. We entered the reception area to be greeted by the wonderful front desk team who were really informative about where we needed to go to reach our rooms. My daughter who is 6 was given a wonderful activity bag which kept her occupied when we had dinner later on. Our rooms although simple we’re beautifully clean and spacious. We then ventured down for a quick swim, the pool was lovely again simple but everything you needed. Lots of space to splash around and have fun. The changing rooms equipped with hair dryers lockers which didn’t need money and fantastic showers which were all lovely and clean. The restaurant area was very relaxed with very friendly staff who had a great knowledge about the food and wine menu. I had breads and olives then a cobb salad. The childrens menu wasn’t all beige food which was also delicious. The food and wines all being reasonably priced when considering the area. We had a great nights sleep on comfortable beds. The next morning I used to gym which was well equipped with weights and cardio machines. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and all tasty. The restaurant where the breakfast was served was slightly tired but had been decorated with fairy lights and decorations to give it a little facelift. On the whole I would highly recommend Beaumont estate if visiting the area as a family or a couples trip away. You won’t be disappointed.

We found this lovely hotel a delight, both from the outside, and inside the hotel itself with tastefully furnished corridors, public lounges, bar and restaurant areas. The Reception staff made us feel welcome at check-in and our room was spotless and comfortable, particularly the bed. We had a most enjoyable stay and would definitely stay there again. All the staff were helpful, courteous and friendly and helped to make our stay very enjoyable. The grounds were very well cared for and the website photos we saw beforehand were accurate. We enjoyed a couple of walks around the grounds and were able to just sit and relax. This hotel must be even more lovely in very good weather when people can take their food and drinks outside . The hotel's procedures with regard to Covid 19 could not be faulted.

Stayed for one night to visit a friend who lives close by. First and foremost the hotel is beautiful. The precautions that have been taken due to COVID are exceptional. Hand sanitiser everywhere and all staff wearing masks. My room also had a sanitary seal on the door to reassure guests no one has entered since it was deep cleaned. There is also a hygiene pack in the room with mask, hand gel, gloves and disinfectant wipes which is just another reassurance if you’ve forgotten your own. Breakfast was continental deliver outside the door by 8am with the option to get a “grab n go” bacon or sausage roll from the bar. The service has been fantastic throughout my stay and I felt incredibly safe. I’ve never been in a cleaner hotel room! Myself and friend also had food in the restaurant which was lovely but wasn’t overly impressed with frozen chips and onion rings next to a lovely piece of chicken. I have already fed this back to the waiter. Homemade chips please!

If you want a break but are a little nervous with the current situation, this is definitely the place to go. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we could not have felt safer. A great Breakfast was delivered to just outside the door each morning, masks had to be worn in the hotel and there was hand sanitizer everywhere. The restaurant was also spaced out well and had a great selection of food, was really tasty and a good price. The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and professional. Our dog too had a great first time away! The hotel is set in lovely grounds and easily accessible for trips out to explore.
Thank you so much. Highly recommend.

Trouble started trying to book. We had received Gift Vouchers as a Xmas present for DeVere, saw a winter break deal, bed, breakfast & dinner, tried to confirm I could use my gift vouchers and it took 3 days for them to confirm this was possible. On arrival, again another problem with the gift vouchers. Once booked in we started our very long trek to find our room, not kidding it was miles. Obviously the word ‘deal’ equates to cheapest possible room, furthest away from anything, definitely made to feel like second class guests. The pool was full of kids the restaurant and bar likewise. Not an upmarket relaxing sophisticated break but on par with Travelodge or Premier Inn. Food was ok, but nothing special. The inclusive dinner deal, we were informed on arrival at the restaurant, had a limit of £20, as main courses were £17 and starters £7 the ‘deal’ didn’t cover dinner. So our ‘deal’ which cost £158 (not cheap) for 1 night, was very disappointing, say the least. We came to realise it must be half term and there must have been other deals for families, but to have kids running around the bar and restaurant at 9pm wasn’t What we expected at this supposedly prestigious hotel
Avoid at all cost and DI NOT purchase DeVere gift vouchers for anyone.

We stayed here as part of a family package deal. We were blown away by the professionalism and courtesy we received throughout the visit. The team couldn't do enough to ensure we felt comfortable. The children were thrilled with their goody bags on arrival and we were thrilled to see the level of attention paid to ensuring COVID-19 didn't dampen our visit. The rooms were spotless, sanitiser dotted throughout and gorgeous little in-room packs with masks etc for us to use. Breakfast was delivered as goody bags in the morning, although hot breakfast baps and drinks were available. We left feeling spoiled rotten and totally relaxed.

We came to the hotel as a last minute getaway/birthday treat. We are so happy we did!. The grounds are huge and beautiful. Ideal for a lovely little morning or early evening stroll. Multiple rooms to sit and lounge in. And a modern trendy bar area if you fancy a couple of drinks.

We were kindly upgraded by the lovely Tracey who works in Front of house. We were lucky enough to stay in the Whitehouse Suite. What a treat! huge bed and a deep roll top bath! The rooms have been newly renovated and have a contemporary and luxurious feel to them.

Everyone had masks on which is a plus during this time & when we arrived into our room we found a mini wash bag, equipped with masks and antibac, gloves etc which we thought was a nice touch.

We ate in the bar/restaurant area and it was reasonably priced. Due to Corona breakfast is served in your room. (no complaints there :))

A sealed continental breakfast is left outside your room in the morning & you can also pop down for a hot breakfast bun if you wish.

It is around 2 miles into Windsor if you fancy a trip into town. Loads to see and do there!

We will definitely be coming back!
