My now fiance and I stayed here as part of a surprise proposal I had organised. Lovely hotel set in fantastic grounds and and a great location. Our bedroom was perfect and dinner/breakfast were up to standard also. The staff were AMAZING in helping me to plan the proposal and also help on the day/evening to make it extra special....

Wanted a quiet birthday celebration and complete chill out. The Bartley Lodge more than met our expectations. We had a superb room overlooking the gardens. It was clean and well furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful without being gushing. Food was good. We had intended on going for walks but the atmosphere was so good that we spent...

With the Forest right on the doorstep I was able to start my first days walk right from the front door....

A beautiful hotel spoilt by an extremely rude and condescending male staff member. We enjoyed the meals, room and the New Forest surroundings however I have never encountered such poor customer service during a hotel stay. We arrived at 9:15PM for dinner and he was rude and aggressive throughout the evening due to our late arrival (we gave the hotel...

This hotel was just amazing for a relaxing time away, the lovely drive up to a beautiful property, once checked in I found myself reading the bits of history on the wall. Decorated in a stately manner with lots of seat laden rest areas with real fires. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were excellent. The surroundings, deer in the...

Amazing grade 2 listed and historic building. Interiors do not disappoint, panelled wall, open fire places and it oozes history. Beautiful grounds and spacious gardens. Lots of free parking. Lovely heated pool. Staff great, food very nice, all in all a great place, will be going back.
