This was our second stay at Cromlix. On this occasion we spent 2 nights celebrating our wedding anniversary. Our first visit in 2016 was excellent and this time, the Bowes - Lyon suite was even better. I'm sure all the suites and rooms are good. Everything about this hotel is as described on their website. It's as close to perfection...

My husband and I have just arrived home after two nights staying in the Carnegie suite at Cromlix. We had a wonderful relaxing time and really feel refreshed after our break. All the staff were efficient, friendly and we were very well looked after. The accommodation was first class: very spacious, warm and comfortable with lovely views over the grounds...

I travelled to the Cromlix with my husband and dog and I have to say it was a amazing experience. The staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large and there was even a dog bed, bowls and a special menu full of doggie dinner delights. We had booked dinner for the evening...

My husband booked a couple of nights at Cromlix as a surprise for my 65th birthday and he could not have made a better choice! From the moment we arrived nothing, and I really mean nothing, was too much trouble for any of the staff. Our bags were collected from the car and put in our room while we ate...

We got married at Gretna Green then drove to Cromlix for our wedding night ! Dunblane is a special place to me as I spent my early childhood there and it's where my mum still lives. We had only had 'high tea' here once before but loved it. We stayed in Hoy room which was just amazing. Free standing bath...

Everyone knew their job indire out and were so attentive in a very discreet manor. So proffesional. The rooms and good were simply...

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Cromlix with our Doodle-more later! First impressions are so important and your first view of Cromlix is let down by the fluorescent ground floor lights-I think in part of the kitchen-before you park up by the main steps.Putting that to one side, the plus points are the friendly and helpful staff, real loose...

We settled in a comfortable settee in front of a roaring log fire for an afternoon tea. There was a treat in store for us. The novelty round sandwiches with delicious fillings followed by scones with clotted cream and jam, fruit cake, carrot cake, lemon drizzle cake, a mini meringue topped with two fresh raspberries and a dessert of panacotta...

We did not realise that the Hotel was owned by quite a famous Tennis player until we left. Room superb and service excellent. Food also without fault except for one small critism - we were on a dinner bed & breakfast basis all paid for in advance (their terms) and on the first night we chose from the daily menu...
