We visited Glencairn House for a couple of nights towards the end of August. So comfortable and welcoming! We had a family room with the use of a really lovely adjoining sitting room. We felt very at home, loved the warmth from the biomass boiler, had a takeaway from the local Thai place in Morar (excellent) and brought it back... More

Spent an overnight at this impressive B&B recently. The establishment is perfectly situated between scenic villages of Morar and Arisaig. It has fantastic rooms, with all the luxuries and amenities the modern traveller would expect: wifi, satellite tv, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, along with up to date en-suite bathroom. The breakfast selection is impressive and memorable... More

We booked 2 nights at the Glencairn House whilst visiting family in Mallaig. The B&B is lovely and almost hidden off the main road. We were greeted immediately by 2 friendly dogs! The owners, Richard and Linda were fantastic and made us very welcome. The house itself is very well decorated with a large communal room complete with comfy couches... More

Stayed here with Family for 2 nights. We had all 3 rooms booked so we had the place to ourselves. B&B is cosy and the owners are so lovely and very helpful, they couldnt do enough for us. Only a few mins drive to the Whitesands of Morar and a few minutes drive from Mallaig. Loved the fact it is... More

Quietly off the main road, yet only 2 minutes from the White Sands and less than 10 minutes from Mallaig. This very friendly b&b has lovely Rooms especially on the first floor, where you can relax on a big verandah and unwind. Breakfast has a nice selection and there is no rush to finish. Very dog orientated as there are... More

Just back from a nice relaxing break to the Small Isles. Myself and my Wife were originally planning to go camping for the trip, but on the realization that the weather was going to be inclement, we decided to splash out and find a B&B instead. We were lucky enough to come across Glencairn House, as it was nice and... More

The B&B has been recently taken over by a delightful couple who have completely refurbished the house. Single travellers often come off worst in terms of room size and value for money, but the room here was lovely, spacious and spotless. There was a small fridge for guests' use which was a brilliant idea and great for storing picnic stuff... More

We spent just one night at Glencairn House as we were on our way to a house rental for the week. Since we booked in January the new owners have taken over, so I wasn't sure how well they would live up to fantastic earlier reviews on TA. Well, Linda and Richard are tops. What a great welcome we received,... More

We only stayed one night at this B&B but I thought it was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The photos on the website don't really do it justice as it's surrounded by hills and is really close to the white sands of Camusdarach beach (and other beautiful beaches along that stretch of coast). The new owners... More

In July, two friends and I embarked on a tour of Scotland on out motorbikes, accommodation pre-booked. Day 2 we arrived in Morar. We came down from Mallaig into Mortar and passed a jaw dropping area known as Silver Sands - aptly named, gorgeous. We arrived at Glencairn, which was suitably located, rurally. Out hosts were very welcoming and we... More
