Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One word - perfect! All the staff are friendly and helpful. Here with work so have stayed 10+ weeks this year. Feel more at home at Lovesgrove than in my own house!! Great to have the living room to chill out in over a hotel where it’s in your room on your own. Great breakfasts and can have as a take way of it suits you better. Smashing home cooked food of an evening too and cater to dietary requirements with ease. Can’t wait to return next year !! 🙂

Loved staying here. We needed accommodation quickly (with two young kids) and we felt so looked after. Had a wonderful night (beds very comfy) & delicious breakfast and would definitely return. Can't thank them enough.

Large room, with a couch as well as your bed. Huge wardrobe and a dresser for storage. Bathroom was fine, water pressure was great and toiletries provided. Fabulous communal lounge area that we utilised every night. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. This is a family run business - John and his daughters Laura and Jemma. Laura looked after us most mornings and was really friendly and informative - we had great chats with her. Thank you Lovesgrove team.

Managed to get a room on the weekend of Iron Man Tenby. Warm welcome by John on arrival, lovely spacious modern room and en-suite. Good variety for breakfast served in pleasant surroundings, plenty of parking spaces. Will stay again when visiting friends.

We recently had a one night stay as a family of 5 (2 rooms) . The guest house was well situated for what we needed and the surrounding scenery was lovely. We were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. The rooms were large, well equipped and clean. My only issue was that there was no shower gel, a bottle of hand wash had been put in the shower which isn’t ideal especially for women ( this was the same in both rooms) also the shampoo was very poor quality and there was no conditioner. The guest house could do with updating in the communal areas and we were also expecting the breakfast to be bigger ( only one egg and one sausage) Overall we had a comfortable stay and would return again.

We had the best time here, thanks to Laura and John. The guest house is conveniently located for discovering beautiful southern Wales. Laura welcomed us like friends, so warm and inviting. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. The bed and bath linens looked, smelled, and felt freshly washed and were in perfect condition. Breakfast was delicious and filling, with a great choice of items. We had the best time chatting with John over breakfast. The only thing that we wish had been different was that the smoking area was just outside our bedroom. When we tried to sleep, another guest was outside smoking and talking on his cell phone. The following morning, before we were awake, he was back again talking to someone. Perhaps the smoking area could be relocated far from the guest windows. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Wales, we would love to stay with Laura and John again!

Lovesgrove is a gem. Staff was welcoming, efficient and helped by providing us with ideas of what to see, where to find a great dinner and kindly provided laundry service for a small fee. Our room was spacious with an excellent bed and bedding. Their breakfast had a lot of choices and they would modify with options as desired. I asked for fresh flowers on my arrival and my bouquet was an beautiful assortment of flowers including a Protea. Thank you Laura and John for a lovely stay.

Wow! what a gem of a find. We stumbled upon this lovely guest house after being double booked on booking.com. On arrival John was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome, he certainly knows how to treat his guests. The whole place has that home from home feel, it’s very relaxed and immaculately clean. Room 10 was huge with a bed and en-suite to match. Top that with peace and quiet and the most wonderful views from the bedroom window and a freshly cooked delicious breakfast. All I can say is don’t hesitate to book here and a huge thank you to John and his team for making us so welcome. Keep up the good work
