We booked the Lovesgrove guesthouse relatively last minute as we’d been keeping an eye on the weather, the reviews we read were all excellent & we certainly weren’t disappointed. We were welcomed by John on arrival who had been busy in the garden, he was extremely welcoming & knowledgeable. He explained to us how breakfast worked, recommended to pre book any evening meals as the local area was so busy & advised us on the best beaches to visit.
The room was lovely, modern & extremely clean, the bed was also very comfortable. As rooms are currently not serviced during stays due to COVID-19 we were advised you could replenish bottled waters, tea/coffee etc at breakfast & towels would be replaced if left outside the door.
Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice.
This guesthouse is very good value for money & all staff we met were very friendly, we would definitely like to return again & recommend this place to stay if you’re visiting Pembrokeshire.

Myself and my partner spent 3 nights here during September, what a lovely place. The room was extremely clean, modern and plenty of space. I’m very fussy when it comes to cleanliness and I could not find a spec of dust anywhere. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was great, me and my partner are vegetarian/gluten free and we were still well catered for. The guest house is just off a main road but it was very quiet and was surrounded by amazing open countryside, and a lovely maintained garden/patio area. Ample parking too! The owner John was very welcoming and made sure that if there was something we needed he would do what he could to help, even at night he was on hand. Great place, great staff, great room.

Thanks to John and the team for being so welcoming and making sure we had an enjoyable stay!

A wonderfully friendly guest house, impeccably run, with first class rooms and facilities. Rooms are perfectly presented large, light and airy. The rooms to the front do get a little road noise, and Lovesgrove is just over a mile out of town along a busy road, not a particularly pleasant walk. Local takeaways do deliver, and John the owner is more than happy to allow guests to eat in the dining room. Breakfast is superb, with a good range of choices. There is plenty of outdoor space with tables and seating too. A great place to stay!

well what a find, Lovesgrove was recommended to us by a family member. we stayed for only 1 night wish t could have been longer. as we arrived John came out and welcomed us, he then helped carry our luggage into the house whilst giving us a tour of the house, our rooms were bright and airy, spotlessly clean with a comfortable mattress and a sturdy bed. This and the tranquil setting ensured a really good nights sleep was had by all my party. The grounds, like the whole accommodation were well presented and looked after. I would without hesitation recommend Lovesgove to my family and friends on their next visit to the area. Thank you John and to your staff for making our short stay enjoyable: Simply outstanding

Me and my partner booked the lovesgrove at the last minute after originally being booked into an awful hotel in Tenby. On arrival we were met by John, I have never been to feel more welcome than I did with John. He was friendly, warm, charming and funny, being a rugby fan myself, I was fascinated by his British lions memorabilia, we spent time chatting about them and listened to his stories.
Our room was big, clean and modern, this was such a relief after our experience in Tenby. We asked for advice regarding dinner and he was kind enough to go out of his way to book us in at a local restaurant. There is a bar at the hotel, and he trusted us to simply write down what we had to drink if the bar was unattended and settle up when we left.
The following morning we had breakfast which was excellent, again John was fantastic to us. We asked for advice regarding somewhere to walk and his daughter went to great lengths to point out the best coastline walks for us. The walk was amazing, such a beautiful place.
I will definitely be back next year, and I couldn’t recommend this wonderful place enough. Thankyou John for saving our trip to Pembrokeshire.

John meet us at the door, we had booked late and arrived late. John was incredibly welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, carried the baggage and showed us to the room. The room was immaculate, bedding fresh and decor superb. Tea, coffee makings and complimentary biscuits, access to extra if we needed. Bathroom and toilet area was spotless, high standard of toiletries, walk in shower was hot and powerful. John and his daughter were attentive and made us feel at ease as we ate a full Welsh breakfast cooked to perfection. John went above and beyond, recommending local attractions, handing out maps and explaining local areas to visit that might be of interest. Incredibly happy to have met John and stayed at his gorgeous guest house.
Perfect, thank you xx

We have just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay and will definitely be returning.
John and his daughter Laura are such welcoming hosts, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We received an email from John two weeks before our visit with a list of recommended restaurants and a note explaining that everywhere was getting booked up really quickly. We took his advice and had some fantastic meals especially one at a restaurant called The Brewery.
The accommodation is spotlessly clean. We stayed in Room number 10 which is huge and the shower in the bathroom was also huge and powerful. It has a lovely view of the countryside and was very relaxing.
We were served breakfast by his other daughter on the Sunday morning who was just as lovely as her sister.
It's situated in a very central location for exploring Pembrokeshire and further afield and John and Laura are very knowledgeable and approachable.
We were recommended The Lovesgrove by friends of ours who had recently visited and we will definitely be recommending it to other friends and family members.
Thanks
John and Anne Couch

Huge rooms, huge comfortable bed, awesome shower, outstanding breakfast. The friendly host/staff were a great font of local knowledge, with great advice on places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The room was very quiet at night, no noise from other guests at all, and the curtains and blind meant that no light disturbed our sleep. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. When I next visit Pembrokeshire I WILL be staying here.

We stayed here for one night and could not have wished for better. Large room was spotless. In fact everything was immaculate. John the owner and his daughter made you feel so welcome and was reassuring to know they were going above and beyond the government guidelines on Covid-19. Breakfast was very good.
John found the time to sit and have a good old chinwag.
If you want a good friendly place to stay in a great location stay here you will not be disappointed.
