We camped here on a family pitch which was huge easily fit 2 of our 8 man tents plus cars! The staff and management were all so lovely. The campsite itself is beautiful and so peaceful, the showers are the best Iv ever used while camping the whole toilet block was always clean, they have a play area where my 5 year old could play while we enjoyed a glass of wine. My older boys had fun playing mini golf and table tennis which has a sheltered seating area very close by so we could watch them play. The cafe offer a good selection of hot and cold drinks aswell as a few baked items like pain au chocolate and croissants. It was really reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting again.

The pods are all you need if canvas is not your favoured option, inside is a cooker, fridge and kettle to help you feel at home. The twin beds are comfortable and the balcony is perfect for enjoying the morning sun or an evening barbeque.. I only wish I had known about this site when my children were little and I will definitely return with my Grandchildren when they arrive in a couple of years time from Australia . Among my highlights were a visit to Hauteville House, the fascinating home of Victor Hugo and a coastal South West Island walk from Portelet kiosk with a sandwich and an icecream along to Pleinmont observational tower, through the fairy ring !! I bought a puffin travel card but make sure that you have an up to date bus map and timetable because you do not want to be stuck for too long at one of the narrow road bus stops with loads of cars whizzing by!!

We stayed in a twin bedded "pod" which although small was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly want during our short stay. All the accommodation whether pods, tents or cabins are extremely well spaced out so you never feel on top of people. The showers and toilets are excellent, clean, spacious and well appointed with hairdryers and plenty of space to hang clothes and towels. The best part of the whole holiday however was the helpfulness and amiability of the young anglo french student staff. The electric kettle in our pod was faulty and within an hour of reporting this a brand new kettle was left outside our door. Nothing was ever too much trouble and on one night the staff organised a barbecue for everyone and played and sang. They managed to generate a terrific atmosphere. We didn't have a car but the campsite is easily accessible from St Peter Port on the n°12 bus which stops right outside the site and opposite a huge supermarket. There weren't a lot of young children there when we were there but I did notice some toys and there are facilities like boules for older kids. I would recommend this site without hesitation for anyone who wants to glamp but still appreciates the ambiance and charm of a friendly campsite.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a week in one of their “pods” and everything- down to the friendly and accommodating hosts to the pod itself and the electricity/ facilities included were brilliant and very spacious inside. They also offered activities in the camping area (golf/playground/ balls) which is a thoughtful touch that is lacking in most other campsites.

It was very close to St Peter’s port and has to be the best and most modestly budged camping or likewise accommodation on Guernsey. If you were getting a bus, then there is a stop just down the road and a large shopping centre across the road to stock up on foodstuffs.

Caryl and Richard really looked after us- whether it was helping with what bus to get or food and tour recommendations. Thank you for having us and I hope more manxies go and enjoy!!

We were immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the site and of the toilets and washing facilities.
We stayed in one of the 'pods', which consisted of a single room with a double bed, refrigerator and simple electric cooking facilities.
As there was only one window and a glass panel in the door the room was dark, even on a sunny day and would have benefitted from a central ceiling light.
Having said all that, the veranda with seating was very pleasant for morning breakfast, facing the rising sun.
The surrounding buildings and tents were well spaced and afforded some privacy.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We would happily stay again

A fantastic family owned campsite, perfect for exploring beautiful Guernsey. With numerous beaches and bays just a pleasant 10mins stroll away, a bus stops on the corner and a well stocked supermarket 2 mins walk away, it really is a find. The pitches are extremely generous compared to the UK and European sites we have been on. Richard and his team could not be more helpful; always at hand to answer questions and impart their local knowledge. Live music and food on a Thursday is not to be missed and they even have jump leads should you need them!

We turned up late for check in but we found our pitch no problem, no serviced pitches but everything not too far away. Very clean toilets and showers and washing up area. Has washing machines too which you pay for in reception/ cafe
We were told there is a supermarket across the road but we never went as we were visiting friends who kept us well entertained and fed, short by circle ride to the nearest bay . Would recommend and stay again if ever back in Guernsey.

Another 6 weeks at La Bailloterie and once again, we had a fantastic holiday. Richard, Caryl and their brilliant staff (Charlie, Reuben, Julia, Kristian & Sasha) worked tirelessly to ensure us campers had everything we needed. They even arranged the best weather ever! BBQ nights were such great fun this year with the resident band playing for our entertainment along with the resident chefs (😜) feeding us! The changes this year (more electricity points and the pitch markers) were great and provided clarity for where we should camp whilst still allowing more than generous space for each unit. Although the site became very busy at times, the friendly, family atmosphere shone through and the campsite never felt crowded. Thank you La Bailloterie for putting up with us and our travelling “circus” again and we are looking forward to our next visit in 2023. Xxx

La Bailloterie campsite was our home for a week's holiday on Guernsey. We were in our own tent. What really stood out about this campsite were the thoughtful little things which made all the difference to the experience. Lights on the path at night, excellent showers with lots of hangers and with dry changing area within the cubicle, a sheltered area with chairs and tables where we ate our dinner one extremely wet evening, and last but certainly not least, the management taking the time and care to give us a quieter pitch without us even asking.
We were on bikes and buses; the bus stop is really near by and every half an hour; cycling is lovely around Guernsey as there are a lot of quiet roads. There's an excellent supermarket just opposite as well, and the beaches are only a 15 min walk away.
Highly recommended.

Because the tent field was full we were given a spot om the camper van field, but this was perfectly quiet and comfortable.
We were unlucky with the weather, quite a lot of wind and rain, but the field drains quickly and does not turn into a swamp! Also the trees around the site catch most of the wind and we were able to cook and BBQ easily.
The facilities such as the coffee shop which serves coffee and croissants were very welcome. Showers and toilets were very good and clean.
Supermarket a few mins walk across the road, but then everything is close in Guernsey. We'll be back!

Dogs are allowed on our campsite if you have your own tents. Some beaches are dog friendly including some of our very local ones.

The toilet facilities are communal with three showers and two cubicles, three sinks in the gents probably a little larger in the ladies, but are only a couple of years old and cleaned at least once a day. Saying that they are never over busy and if you pick your time for your wash you stand a good chance of being alone. I note you intend to use a camper van, please advise the site of this as the tourist board have limits. Looking forward to meeting you this summer!
