Value
We are currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment of all our rooms and public areas and are well into this as almost all the rooms have recently been completed. This programme will continue throughout 2014 but will be done in a way which causes no disruption to our customers. The hotel has wheelchair access to our restaurant and bars but unfortunately not to the bedrooms.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Warm welcome back to The Inchture Hotel.

Arrived for dinner and warmly welcomed by Rachel, Mel & Nicky.

Fully COVID 19 compliant. Hand sanitizer at the door. Single use salt & pepper.

The team have been fully briefed by Jack & Stef and it runs like clockwork. Choice of sitting outside or inside.

Fab new app to order food & drinks and works brilliantly. Quick efficient easy ordering.

Staff are solely looking after their own areas and no crossing from bar to restaurant.

To be honest, we’ve always found The Inchture Hotel to be immaculate. The staff have always been polite, friendly & efficient.

We will most definitely be back.

Booked in for two night as visiting local winery and this was the closest hotel.
Staff could not of been nicer or more helpful. Giving us number of local taxi to use and helping us book.
Food was excellent and we loved the fact that breakfast/brunch was still being served when we checked out at 11.00am.
Our bathroom and room could maybe of done with a bit freshing up decor wise but very clean and bed comfy. When we asked for more towels, coffee and milk we got them straight away.
It's not 4 star luxury, it doesnt claim to be but friendly and clean and that's all we needed.

Stayed 2 nights. Room was comfortable, clean and having a sofa was an added wee bonus. The bathroom was also clean - however, a non slip mat would be welcome in the large walk in shower.
Can't comment on the hotel food as they weren't doing breakfasts, and I dined elsewhere due to business.

The worst stay in a hotel we have ever had. Stayed for a wedding, had to leave the wedding halfway through to check in as couldn’t accommodate anything before or after 1-10pm. TV screen in room was broken, no instructions or details of the hotel amenities in the room, couldn’t get onto Wi-Fi. Incredibly old saggy mattress, we had the worst nights sleep. Room was filthy. We sanitised the remote control and the wipe was brown with dirt and grime! Curtains didn’t meet in the middle flooding the room with light at daybreak. Bathroom smelt of urine.

Just stayed 2 horrible nights in Inchture Hotel. Manager on arrival was so rude and unprofessional, customer service badly lacking, not at all a scottish welcome ,very poor show on Managers part. Room smelt of damp, bathroom mould round the bath and radiator, toilet was in great need of a good clean, Towels were worn thin. Bedding was disgusting and mattress was so lumpy. No breakfast just "Brunch", extra for fresh orange. Would not recommend staying here.

We were their on Saturday evening with two friends. Two scampi meals and two fish & chips .All four meals were burnt. I do not know why they would think it’s acceptable to serve burnt food to customers.
The starters and desserts were ok.

We were out for a fundraising event and a day out for the adults to raise a bit of money. We contacted the pub a week prior to the event to ensure it was ok for a bus of 50 people to turn up to have a drink for an hour - there was no food involved only drinks which there is a beer garden big enough to accommodate that amount of people. It was agreed as long as the bus load was there and away for 4pm this would be acceptable as agreed with the manager. Turned up at the agreed time at 3pm to be there for 1 hour and as soon as we stepped off the bus the manager turned us away straight away with no explanation claiming that everyone was too drunk - baring in mind we had only been at Errol for 1 hour prior to arriving here. Extremely disappointed by this as I am a regular customer here and thought by taking everyone here as part of this day out it would be beneficial to the hotel but clearly they did not want the easy money which would of went in their till. We were only stopping here for an hour and moving on to the next stop but the attitude of the manager only was appalling, bar staff were quite happy to accommodate us if we ordered through the app which was great but very disappointing from the manager especially after being a regular customer not just for food and drinks but events such as weddings etc i did not expect that kind of service. Very very disappointed.

Room was alright and clean enough but… there are 2 major downsides.

1. The water pressure is horrendous. My toilet didn’t flush properly because the pressure was so bad! Managed to get it to flush after standing there pressing the button for 5 minutes! Someone in the room next to me decided to have a shower at the same time as me and my water completely stopped for 2 minutes and then when it came back on it was cold.

2. There is absolutely no sound proofing between rooms. Like none. The people next to my room were having a conversation at 11:30pm whilst I was trying to get to sleep. I could practically hear everything. I managed to fall asleep but then someone laughed and that jolted me awake. Because the laugh sounded so clear, it sounded as though someone had come into my room which sent me into a panic for about an hour.

So not the best sleep or the best experience at a hotel unfortunately.

Four of us had a nice dinner in here a couple of weeks ago. Good home made soup, cheese macaroni was good as was the pancetta. There was a tasty selection of sweets too. Cozy enough small dinning room all covid compliant. 4 x starters, 4 mains, 3 deserts, £67. 2 pints and 3 glasses of wine £21, so £88 in total, not bad for the quality. Worth dropping in for. The service was very attentive and knowledgeable.
