We stayed for 2 nights whist attending a canoeing competition in Llangollen, the owners were attentive and yet not intrusive. Very clean room, great breakfast all at a very reasonable price. Plus when I stupidly left my 3G modem behind they sent it to me free of charge. Thanks.

This is ideal for Offa's Dyke being only a few yards off route. My room was functional, clean and perfectly comfortable. I was carrying everything with me and my host was really kind and rinsed through and dried some clothes for me to keep me going. The breakfast room was clean and bright and my breakfast was good. There is...

Due to the good reviews maybe my expectations were too high for the Oakland. I had booked a twin room but had to settle for a large single. 2 single beds have been jammed in leaving little room to move. The en-suite bathroom is memorable because of it size. The entire room consisting of a toilet handbasin shower are smaller...

Always guaranteed a warm welcome and relaxing holiday. The accommodation is very comfortable, spotlessly clean with special attention to detail such as flowers in the room and biscuits and chocolates refreshed daily with the tea, coffee and milk. The breakfasts are excellent. Anna and Mal, the proprietors, are always happy to share their knowledge of the area to ensure you...

An attractive Victorian villa style house with what seemed to be many of the original features tastefully restored and/or maintained. And a lot of work put into the gardens too. The proprietors were attentive and considerate without being overpowering. There were their own fresh eggs for breakfast and more choice of teas than our local supermarket to go with them....

We stayed in this beautiful B&B for a short break in May. Mal and Anna were very welcoming and friendly and also informative about local tourist attractions of which there are many in this part of Wales. The rooms are all very tastefully decorated and we loved the dining room with its beautiful wooden fireplace. We also loved the fairy...

Very nice bed and breakfast! Warm welcome. Lovely decor. Comfortable bedroom. Fantastic breakfast (especially the eggs)! We were performing in the local theatre, and this was a perfect place to come back to after a hard day. Thank you.

Hubby and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for a romantic weekend over the Valentines period. We booked the 4 poster bedroom which was lovely and spacious with a separate single bed and a two seater leather sofa in the room. The house was clean and tidy, however, evening time when we were going out the lounge was in...
