Grateful to every single staff member working at Hotel Saccardi! Politeness and professionalism are the most tangible trademarks inside the hotel. Special thanks to Cristina (reception), Elisabetta (spa), Gianfranco (maitre), Giuseppe (head chef). Highly recommended.

I had the most amazing stay at this hotel! I travelled on my own and found the staff really attentive and helpful. The spa was incredible! I treated myself to a massage which was well worth it and used the well-being rooms and pool every day. I didn’t have a car and used the hotel shuttle service which was easy to book at reception for the airport or Verona city. I was half board and found the restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was a very high standard, Gianfranco’s recommendations for food and wine were always appreciated and I felt utterly spoilt in there. Anyone who has travelled solo knows it can be quite daunting depending where you go, but this hotel made everything easy and I had a wonderful stay. I can’t recommend this place enough!

First and foremost, this hotel is literally 10mins from the airport however we weren’t really disrupted by the planes in the days we stayed at the hotel. There is also a sort of building site behind breaking concrete up with big diggers and yes you could here it but things like that don’t really get to me. My wife and I stayed for 7 nights although one night we stayed in Lake Garda so to give ourselves an extra day there. Which leads me to my next point. The hotel is a great spot to explore other places around Verona. The hotel run a shuttle bus into Verona and the train station. Make sure you plan ahead to get a seat on the bus by booking at reception as it is only an 8 seater. We also visited Padua for a day which is ok but wouldn’t rush back. The Basilica of St Anthony is amazing though! Train links are good for Venice, lake Garda, Milan and also Bologna which we visited last year and was lovely, a must if you’re a foodie but I would stay overnight if I’m honest. Now to the hotel. From the outside it looks a bit disappointing but take no notice of that as once inside, it’s all ok. Big reception area and a snack bar leading off plus the main breakfast and dining area. The dining area leads out to the pool and bathing area which is lovely. The staff here are wonderful and if you take some time out to talk to them, they’re very chatty which is lovely. I got chatting to the chef one evening and told him how much I love Carbonara. Fast forward the next day and he agreed to cook me one which is off menu 👌(was gorgeous) From the reception staff, waiters to cleaning staff, they were all very welcoming and very helpful. If you like Italian wines then look no further than this hotel as the restaurant is full of it, literally!! We had some very nice wines and even bought a couple to bring home. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely and are very thankful to the staff for making it so lovely, thank you to you all x

What a lovely hotel. Right near airport - 5 minutes away. Hotel does a shuttle service to the airport which is amazing. Also hotel has a shuttle but into the city 4 times a day and back again. We used it a lot and it was a great way to get to the city and included in the hotel price. Amazing :-) Breakfast was lovely - eggs, bacon, fruit , cereal , pastries, ham, cheese , orange - decent coffee machine and lots of teas. Rooms was lovely and very clean. Cleaned daily. Toiletries added so no need to bring shower gel, body cream or shampoo. Hotel was really nice. Pool was amazing. Lovely cabana beds. Comfortable too. Spent several mornings by pool and people bring you drinks when requested. Great cocktails on the menu and pool snacks. Service is amazing, reception are so lovely and helpful. Pool staff are lovely. Restaurant staff are lovely. Great customer service. All in all an amazing lovely hotel. I would highly recommend it for exploring Verona or wanting to use as a base to go Venice and lake Garda.

Had a lovely superior room at an €40 a night. X 7 nights, So the menu was not to our liking and didn’t seem to bother anyone that all the residents would eat else where every night! The restaurant was always empty of an evening. A steak or pork chop ,lamb etc would of kept us there all the time . As we agreed it’s a beautiful restaurant.(what culture is it nowadays that lets ,dogs into restaurants)not for me ! As previously mentioned shuttle service is a day in advance booking and the hotel is spotless, the staff are lovely. But it’s advised by Jet2 and it’s own website as a Adults Hotel !! While we stayed a competition call Horseball was on ,they boarded at the hotel kids and all ,with no explanation from the rep or hotel as to why kids where there £€€€€ I complained and had my upgraded room at half price ! Fair but really ruined the whole experience,we felt rather uncomfortable with the immature attitude of the very young guests. About 30 + of them including family. Would not return or use Jet2 again

Really pleasantly surprised by this hotel! When we first drove up is only 5 mins away from the airport and is basically off a motorway so thought oh no originally, however when we got to the hotel there’s a big car park outside that you can park your car on for free (really helpful for us as we hired a car for driving to lake Garda and Venice) and the reception and facilities are really lovely. Beautiful pool outside and have a spa inside that is fully open on the weekend (in the week it’s just pool only). Staff are really friendly can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was buffet style with bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, cereals, different cakes everyday. It is not your typical full English as in no sausages or beans but is very filling and I really enjoyed the breakfast. For evening meal every night we were in Verona we went to Verona town centre which is about a 15 minute drive. We pre booked using the hotel free shuttle bus there and then got a taxi back as there werent times back we wanted for the shuttle and didn’t want to be on a time scale and taxi cost around 30 euro. Rooms are decent, spacious, a bit outdated in places. Had to give 4 stars as also had building work next to the hotel so could hear that but for us the hotel was so nice that didn’t bother us. You get what you pay for and the service was excellent. For me it is worth being further out from Verona as I love a pool and spa and time to relax which you wouldn’t have in the town centre. Being next to the airport turned into a plus for me also as no stress when picking and dropping off the hired car and when travelling to and from home.

This was advertised as a four star hotel with a daily shuttle bus into Verona by Jet 2. This hotel is a three star at best, we had a room with wrought iron furniture and the fridge doubled up as a bedside cabinet!!. with very poor wifi service in the bedrooms and lounge area. The shuttle bus is totally inadequate for the the service it can only take 8 people in at given times, they will not put on any extra journeys to assist their customers, you will need to book a seat ASAP as there is no other way to get into Verona except by taxi, this cost us an extra 120 Euros for four journeys. Also currently next door to the hotel and directly behind the pool there is a demolish site so whilst you are trying to relax at the side of the pool, there is the motorway noise which is directly next to the hotel, demolish site and the planes form the airport less that two miles away....really was not the break I was looking forward to!!!

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Verona, but I am here to write about the hotel and its staff. The hotel is welcoming and all the staff in their various roles made our visit incredible. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, always clean and tidy. The outdoor pool is a joy, plenty of seating and the staff who work to maintain a good pool are always on hand. There is an indoor pool which is amazing but during this hot spell we stayed outdoors. The breakfast is above and beyond- so much choice and the cakes on offer are out of this world. The restaurant and café have everything you need. We will be going back next year as the staff treat you like family- friendly as can be. Thank you to everyone who made our trip wonderful. We appreciate you all.

The hotel is situated about 6k (20 min shuttle bus ride) from the main square in Verona. With a large swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers it is a welcome oasis from the heat and hustle and bustle of Verona city centre. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service there and back 4 times a day. (It’s best to book your seats early as it’s only a mini bus). But it is a great way to have the best of both worlds; a pool to relax by, and free access to the wonderful city of Verona. The staff at the hotel could not be nicer or more helpful. The breakfasts were excellent. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening however. The rooms are a little tired but all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Saccardi and Spa.

It’s mainly a short stop over hotel very close to the airport and in the middle of an industrial estate. We got what we expected and that was fine. Reception staff very helpful and friendly and the shuttle bus supplied by the hotel was a bonus. I’d read that sometimes it was full so unavailable but we booked in advance so that wasn’t a problem. It would have been great if the last pick up from Verona back to the hotel was later than 7.20pm as it didn’t give time to have dinner in Verona. Obviously taxis were available though but relatively expensive. Very few places to eat near the hotel if you were staying more than a couple of days. A basic pizza restaurant 5 minutes away but about 10 minutes away a great restaurant Dal Corsa (just past the post office). The hotel room was basic the bed was very comfortable but could do with a refurbishment. Food in the hotel was good but the waiters were not the friendliest or the most organised. We chose the hotel knowing it was basic but thought it would be a good base for exploring Verona, Venice etc. in hindsight I think we should have based ourselves in Verona itself but the week we spent was fine for what we needed.
