Absolutely amazing trip from start to finish! Our host Irene was so friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to give us help with arrangements and recommendations. The villa itself was beautiful with perfect facilities and the most spectacular view! We had such a unique and special stay here and we would highly recommend to anyone staying in Santorini looking for more of a unique and authentic experience outside of the main tourist areas! Thanks so much to Irene and the team!

This would of made it to a 5 star review but unfortunately our checkout was pretty terrible. It was almost a 3 star but everything else was pretty much perfect so I've gotta give them a 4. We got upgraded to a premium suite on check-in and Irene was super helpful on with advice on the area. On our exit unfortunately, things didn't go so smoothly. We had message Irene 2 days before that we wanted to check out early at 9.45 am to make our flight. The donkey was arranged and a shuttle to take us to the airport that day. When it came to the time of check out, luggage donkey was a no show, so we had to take the luggage down ourselves, wasn't entirely pleasant. When we got to the area to meet the shuttle, we couldn't find anyone who was taking us to the airport. We asked everyone of them, and they were not the cab that was requested for us. So we quickly had the cafe nearby to call for a cab, and made the airport on time. Just a message to kastro mansion in the future, errors like this can cost your clients money, and reading the reviews, we're not the only ones who have had a bad experience on check out. It can really sour a positive review, and a note to Irene, we really do appreciate your help on check in and generally over the stay, but you need to work on your customer experience on check out. You told us the shuttle was waiting at the bus area, we went down to exactly where we met you the first time and asked every shuttle and taxi there, and nothing. Other than that, our holiday was fantastic, thanks again.

We stayed at Kastro Mansion for 3 nights in early September. Everything was perfect! The owner, Irene, was so helpful - she arranged for us to be collected from the airport and met us on arrival. We travelled with our adult daughter and she offered us a free upgrade into a fabulous 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment included a spa and amazing roof top terrace where we sat and watched the sunset. Included in the package (through Luxury Escapes) was an amazing breakfast delivered directly to the apartment each morning. There were many nice restaurants within a few minutes walk of the apartment. Irene was extremely approachable and helpful and made our stay a memorable one! In terms of location I would rate her apartment highly as Pyrgos was beautiful and quiet given it was out of the busy areas of Fira and Oia which seemed constantly busy with cruise ship passengers. I can’t recommend the accomodation and Irene highly enough - stay here if you are going to Santorini!!

From the drop off to the checking out this accommodation couldn't be any better. Our suite was absolutely incredible! The "bucket list" destination you would imagine for Santorini. The terrace was where we spent the most of our time. Picture perfect views and Instagram worthy photo opportunities. Irene was the perfect host. We loved every minute of our stay.
