We visited in a quiet November period, so it was jus us and an other family. The room was very cosy, comfortable. Small lamps stood everywhere that made the atmosphere very cosy. It was very clean, and quiet. The room was warm enough even if we switched off the radiator (I had no idea how did they do that, but...

We splurged on the suite with balcony, well worth the extra money! Spacious and quiet with a great balcony for that afternoon glass of great house wine. Restaurant is great, with lots of selection. Don't miss walking the grounds, peaceful and lovely.

My partner and I had a great stay at Grof Degenfeld Castle Hotel. We stayed here for a total of 3 nights and had so much fun exploring the area and having this as our base. The staff were great and although not all of them spoke fluent English they always managed to help us out with what we needed....

If you want to visit the Tokaj wine region in Hungary, which is a hour and a half drive east of Budapest, this is the place to stay. Set in lovely grounds, amongst the vines, adjacent to the winery, this is the place. Rooms are large and very well appointed. The restaurant serves good Hungarian food of a high standard....

This is a very nice hotel established within a 19th century manor house. There is an on-premise restaurant which a good dinner although the breakfast was probably a little sparse. The grounds are great, with a swimming pool and vinyards out the back. A little more English from staff would have been good, although was enough for us to get...

Absolutely perfect place! We have arrived late but girl from reception made check in very quickly, after that she switch on the swimming pool and the sauna only for our group despite the late night. The rooms are really excellent for that money. Fine wines are also produced here.

We spent a day and a night at this hotel, which is also a winery. The hotel, is a converted educational institute. However, the hotel resembles a castle, and the grounds with its grand garden in front and vineyard at the back, reinforces that impression. The atmosphere is relaxed, but elegant. We enjoyed a tour of the winery, including a...

This is the second time that we have stayed here, the last being almost exactly 5 years ago. Though the staff may have changed nothing about the hotel has, it is simply outstanding, a gem of an hotel, luxurious living. We were so pleased that the hotel has remained exactly the same with spacious public rooms and bedrooms in unspoilt...

Top notch four star hotel at decent prices. The wine they make here is outstanding and the accommodation is lovely. Large grounds for dogs to have a run as well as children. Very odd is that marrying couples seem to come here just to get their wedding photos done, but nothing else.
