Cannot recommend Craigengar enough for any type of celebration weekend! A group of us booked for my friends birthday weekend, from start to finish we had a ball and the house is beyond catered for your every need! Geraldine was fantastic and keeping us updated and accommodated any request (ie, when I emailed her asking to come early to put up decorations etc). The lodge itself was a beautiful setting in a private location. The kitchen is catered with everything you could need and all rooms were extremely clean and beautifully decorated! The entire lodge is well kept and obviously maintained after each stay, it is total luxury! Would recommend this for any occasion!!

It was lovey of Geraldine to accept our request to take all our well behaved dogs with us. We had a lovely relaxing time with family and our dogs at new year 2021. The lodge was perfect for our family of 6 and we felt so much at home. The only problem that we faced was the internet which we didn’t realise had ran out and that we have used all the data! Saying that, it is quite good for the kids to be away from their devices and back to playing board games. We had a lovely local family holiday. Thank you Geraldine’

Orlege is a beautiful cottage in a great location. The cottage is very spacious so there was plenty of room to relax and to play for our young family. It was so well equipped it had everything we needed and our oldest loved discovering the train set and books on offer. G was a very attentive host and checked in with us a few times to ensure everything was going well with our stay.

My father, partner and I decided to go on a last minute trip to escape the city and have some quality time together - 'The Wing' of Crosswoodhill was just perfect for that end - such a cosy little cottage, I particularly thought the interior design was so full of character. We spent some wonderful lazy days by the fire, cooking, and just relaxing together. Geraldine was very helpful and arranged everything for us, even bringing us bits and bobs we had forgotten in the shops. She mentioned a number of lovely walks in the area, and we had a beautiful day out in the snow. Everything you might need is available in the cottage - I reckon it's a great place to stay for a family too as there are three bedrooms. The kitchen is great if you love cooking! Highly recommend! Thank you Geraldine!

We are just home from a lovely week's stay in the Wing at Crosswoodhill Farm. The cottage perfectly suited our needs - we are a family of four (two teenage girls) and wanted a cosy and welcoming place for our father to visit who lives nearby. Geraldine could not have done more to make our stay comfortable and festive - lovely christmas decorations adorned all the reception rooms with the upstairs room hosting a real christmas tree cut from their own grounds! Having a second reception room/bedroom upstairs suited us very well so our girls could get away from us at times! We wanted to cook a special Christmas dinner for our father and brought some kitchen equipment with us. However, this was not needed as the kitchen while small is superbly equipped and lacks for nothing. Geraldine was extremely helpful and thought of all the little touches including bringing us holly for our christmas pudding on the day. We look forward to staying at Crosswoodhill Farm again.
