I paid 200 more pesos for the night than my booking.com reservation said. They said my card was just to reserve but had already charged my card when I arrived. It was very very cold inside, the toilet didn't work, and there is no wifi in the room... you have to sit by the front desk to get wifi. There are no bedside tables nor lamps. Only one overhead lamp that must be turned off near the door. Overpriced for what you get. Sure it is very convenient to the cute, cute center but what a terrible place to stay. More

Stayed at a small hotel called Hotel Casablanca. Inexpensive. quiet and centrally located. Rooms more than adequate. Quiet. Pool inoperative because of cleaning. We visited during the week when tourists are limited. On weekends, thousands of Mexico City come to experience the tranquility of this mountain colonial city.
