We arrived with another couple, just prior to a large electrical storm. Checked in all ok. This is a small boutique accomodation, wonderful setting in this very old watermill.Rooms etc just as displayed on their web page, very comfortable. Now the hosts, they are the nicest people you will meet travelling around France. We were invited to join them for... More

B/B is located in a small village in a former mill house which, in spite of renovation, still has its old charm. Rooms are very large and spacious and so are bathrooms. Our room was on a ground level and bathroom had both shower stall and bathtub. Numerous windows in our room were facing village road; and at first I... More

Set in the picturesque Poilly-sur-Surein, this B&B was a fantastic country escape. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and even suggested a few places for us to visit in the area (check out the winery of Bailly St Pierre and La Soufflet restaurant in Irancy). They also offer a Table d'Hote on certain nigths. We were served an excellent... More

Arrived at the Mill on a beautifully hot day. Check in wasn't until 4pm so had a wander around the village. All extremely quiet and peaceful with surrounding countryside lined with miles of vines. We were greeted by Jean-Michel as Valentine was preparing dinner. We were shown to enormous 'suite' on the second floor. A huge room complete with beams... More

If you want a wonderful relaxing time in the real French countryside then go to the Moulin de Poilly sur Serein. The hosts are amazing welcoming us when we arrived with an evening meal with the other guests with local Burgandy wine produced in the village. Our room was over 20 metres long with chairs and wardrobe. The breakfasts were... More

We had a brilliant stay here. Yes we were lucky with very hot weather and a great group of other guests. Even so our hosts were charming and we had an excellent dinner and great breakfast. The room was immense and the bed extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back.

You get a lovely country feel about this large mill, which still has a bit of work to go before it is fully restored. The rooms are massive and the owners lovely. It is a quiet village near Chablis, just right for our halfway stop on our way to the French alps. We ate a simple but substantial meal with... More
