Modern, fairly new hotel, with quite spacious room and balcony looking out onto a field of cows – very rural. Sun streaming in late afternoon, very pleasant. Large double bed, comfortable, large wardrobe, but no shelves on which to put anything, so had to leave smalls and sundries in the suitcase for the 5 nights we stayed. Two chairs and...

I had a very nice short stay and I was impressed by the refined and original restaurant with local extremely fresh food, exquisite wine and marvelous landscape. The room (if you get the basic one) is ground floor facing the road so you need to keep the curtains down at all time for privacy. Other than this, it is perfect!...

The setting of this hotel is quite lovely. Not only is the village of Chaource pretty, but the restaurant, balcony and the rooms at the rear of the property overlook a meadow. The rooms at the back of the hotel have little balconies which make them lovely on a sunny evening. The rooms at the front overlook the car park...

I have had some truly disappointing experiences in France over the last few years. This was not one of them. I stayed here for one night a little over a year ago on my way south. The room was modern (in the best sense) comfortable and clean. The meal was a delight. I have not eaten that well in a...

We live in France and to avoid returning at night to a cold house (it's just before Christmas) decided to stop over here, at it's on our route home. Although being assured that the parking at the front had video surveillance (so you can later see which masked bandit has made it off with your stuff!) we were concerned that...

A very modern hotel in rural France. We would recommend it as a stopover unreservedly. Happy and helpful staff, very good food, brilliant aspect, clean well laid out air conditioned bedrooms, super breakfast. It is worth the extra driving to and from the autoroute.
